Re: The ONLY Euro 2016 thread
Homecomings for teams can be cringesome at the best of times, but I'm going to go slightly against the grain here and say Wales did deserve some sort of recognition for their tournament achievement.. For Wales to reach the last four and go out with suspensions as a factor was an achievement.
The problem with perceived success at a national levels is it spawns new experts.. See Oierland 1988/90/94 etc..

Never said your were mate! I...Mind you maybe we are all lacking in the noggin' department to keep hoping Kim Jong Un Wenker will fuckoff.Brightonnxtround wrote:Im not thick bardOneBardGooner wrote:Brightonnxtround wrote:wHAt england v iceland was shite englandRugby Gooner wrote:I agree,I think that they have been the best games so far.OneBardGooner wrote:
I know I support Wales - But, I thought the games of Wales vs Belgium and the England vs Iceland were excellent.
Particularly shite
The reason they were "Excellent" was because Iceland ( a part time pub team - whose manager is a part-time dentist) beat England whose manager was on £3.8 million a year.
See the faces of the england players when the final whistle went was such fun!i know iceland done well but it was awful to watch as an
England supporter we where shite ..

ps: I thought you would be used to seeing your team play shyte - I mean you are a Gooner so come onnnnnn..

Mind you I also heard that Ingerland were having one too - Especially for Wilshere as he survived training and a few minutes on the pitch without doing a Diaby.armchair wrote:Heard on the radio today that Wakes were having a "victory parade"![]()

Don't have any great affection for Portugal but seriously could not stand the idea of Giroud being convinced (along with Wenger) that he led France to a major title.

If Giroud scores in tomorrow's final his ego gos into outer space and if France win well we could sell him on
maybe Middlesbrough or burnley

Game has started well, few chances at bpoth ends but France seem to be more fluid going forward

That tackle was designed to hurt Ronaldo and even though he is a knob at times, I feel sorry for him. As for France, how come they get to host so many tournaments?

Poor sportsmanship from the French fans, booing Ronaldo when he was clearly injured. Has killed the game really. Hope Portugal win.

France should bring on Pogba.
