The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So not one single concrete rumour out there at the moment, to be honest doesn't even seem like there are as many as usual bullsh!t ones from the usual outlets...... even the click-bait monger websites out there seem to be struggling to come up with anything these days

Jesus.... calm down, mate. It's a forum. People will debate things. It's not an insult to be challenged on your opinion.

OK DB10 fair enough, have respect for 95% on here, although strange though never have an issue with most posters on here, just 1 or 2.

how's it strange your the one with the issue! unprovoked continued overreaction. maybe give yourself a good talking to?

or change your avatar to sitting on a toilet reading the paper.

I know, mate. It happens - people just wind each other up at times or there is a clash of personalities. The best thing is to just block the posters that bug you.

These petty disputes shouldn't be allowed on this thread - they are a distraction from what is clearly an exciting and busy time in the transfer market for all Gooners 8)

The Gunners are ready to make a £42m offer for 25-year-old France and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. (Daily Express)

Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen, 30, is a target for former club Arsenal, while West Ham are also interested. (Daily Star)

Arsenal's Chuba Akpom, 20, is set to be their only fit striker for the start of the Premier League season. (Independent)

Arsene knows fuckk All!

Have to say that, if we had addressed our striker and centre back issues, signing ter stegen for £15m-£20m would be a good bit of business - apparently he is gettable at that price and citeeh are going after him so that they can oust the over-rated shampoo model
Cech isn't a young man and, it has to be acknowledged, he hasn't been the overwhelming success we thought that he would be - signing a young quality keeper at that price makes bags of sense to me 8)

TBH augie, given the, at times, utter shit that plays in front of him, I think Cech has done remarkably well. We are talking about a man that won the golden gloves playing behind a cowardly 3-legged giraffe and a French surrender monkey that are both prone to brain-farts at inopportune moments and who can only be replaced by a left back or an equally brain-fart-prone Brazilian whose passport I would be getting checked if I had my way. :|

Cech for me has been the best keeper at Arsenal since the idiot German that cost us the CL by being a fucking idiot.

The age thing I do accept. Cech will only get older and slower from here on in and we need a top young keeper. ter Stegen might be a good shot, although he looks a bit too much like Chesney for my liking....

"Arsenal are ready to bid...."

Stopped reading. I'm not sitting up and taking notice till I see an offer had been submitted and even then I'll assume it's derisory or we'll fuck up personal negotiations :banghead:
