Oh and PS,rumours the BFG will take over from Arteta as club Captain.

Unless he sells mertesacker that decision is a no brainer to me - like it or not the man was vice captain last season, and unless he was sold it would be an awful slap in the face of the BFG if someone else was appointed captain. Lets be honest here and say that it doesn't really matter if he appoints bfg as captain - if all things were right then bfg wouldn't be first choice and he would then be more of a club captain rather than a team captain (much the same way as it was with arteta). The bigger issue here is that he hasn't bought a centre back to oust the bfg cos he is no longer good enough and Gabriel is nowhere near the answer
Varane should be a no brainer here - quality player with real speed and who is available, so he ticks most of the boxes for me (not sure if his aggression is high enough)

Mertesacker would be just like Vermaelen and Arteta - captaining from the bench. Wenger has destroyed the concept of captain. From handing it out to players to keep them from leaving, to naming captains who arnt good enough for the first 11. The first 10 years iwe had 3 captains in Adams, Vieira and Henry, Then Wenger gave the captains armband to Gallas instead of Gilberto, which for me was when the Arsenal captaincy lost all meaning. Wenger doesnt rate the importance of the captaincy. He thinks its a pioneering concept to not believe in the importance of the captaincy. He thinks he is ahead of his time. Yet like most other of Wenger's ideas and concepts. They are fuking as useless as he.

Cech for me has to be the captain. Winner, wont rationalize defeats or failure. Its a shame we need someone with leadership and winning qualities that were developed at Chelsea to lead the Arsenal. But this is what Wenger has reduced us too. Although, I think he will go with a player who owes Wenger thier position at Arsenal. Thus keeping the captaincy within his control. The last thing Wenger would want is Cech offering new ideas and concepts that exist outside Wengers bubble of ideas.

Didn't you say on the previous page that you don't think that he is useless ?

For what it is worth I agree 100% with you re the scandalous regard in which wenker views the captaincy - I would actually go back as far as appointing henry as captain cos I felt at that time it was the wrong decision made for the wrong reasons (to keep him at the club). Personally I wouldn't give it to cech (only in the door and hasn't done enough to earn it in my opinion), but at the same time I would say that there isn't a load of options here (an expected knock on affect from buying too many yes men  ) - if I had to choose then I would probably opt for cazorla IF he was a certain starter, and if not then I would opt for kos although I am not convinced about his leadership qualities

Hang on, augie - you talk about Cech not having "earned" the captaincy (which I agree with 100% btw 8) ) but yet you appear to think the Big Cowardly Vagina has "earned" it? By what virtue? Being vice captain for a period of time? He should inherit it? :|

I have to be honest here - I hope he gets a big slap in the face. The big fucking coward deserves one! :x He is certainly not captain material. Cowards seldom are. :x

I'm not saying that the bfg earned it and nor am I saying that I agree with it - I am saying that it is a natural progression that the vice captain steps up to the captaincy when arteta leaves.

I think they should make Arsene Wenger Captain - Welll why not!? He's in charge of every other fucking part and aspect of our Once Proud and Wonderful Club.

Well that the very reason why Wenger appoints such quiet, timid captains. He de-values the position to the extent that there really is no captain that could pissibly influence players or challenge him live Vieira.

Banning twitter users for what exactly
Sacking Henry incase he influences players
Appointing weak captains who wont speak out.

Censorship? I think so.

Oh for the love of fuck. Jesus merciful fucking Christ.  EVERYTHING evil in the world is a Wenger-led conspiracy against you, isn't it? You are starting to sound like ItchyfuckingBaba tbh. It's getting tedious, mate. We get it already! You are not overly fond of Wenger.

Banning twatter users for being racist cúnts is a brilliant thing and I'll never disagree with that policy. 8)

Is there any guidelines by which fans will be banned for twitter abuse? If its racist, homophobic or wishes of death or cancer, then its acceptable.

But if one were to refer to Wenger as a naive dimwit who should be sacked - is anyone getting banned for that?
