The ONLY Euro 2016 thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree it was a poor tournament the quality of players is fairly average and pretty much the same across Europe. Don't think there was one or two players that stood out as truly world class...unless of course the quality of a modern world class player is a lot lower than it used to be, but that's for another thread.

One of the most boring fucking tournaments ever......the highlight being Harry Kane's world record attempt at managing 356 set pieces in succession that failed to meet their target !

In fact, I'm hoping some of those Scummers get the backlash they'll truly deserve next season - Kane and Alli were absolutely fucking desperate, which I'm sure upset our mate Hartson who was dreaming of 5 players from his favourite team lifting the trophy !

The next thing that will irritate the fuck out of me will be the undoubted copying of the Icelandic chanting / clapping thing up and down the country

I reckon Harry Kane might have been better on University Challenge than he was on set pieces at the Euros.

Have to agree that the tournament was quite boring and quality of games was low. It seemed like most of the players didn't even care that much.
