Next Ingerland Manager

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Where the fuck is English football going with this appointment? Klopp. Pep. Conte, Mourinho all coming into (or returning) to English football in the last year. Ranieri a title winner and England appoint a caveman as manager.
England sizzled in the 90s on Tuesday and English football returns to the70s on Thursday.

How is he going to instill the "small clubs get no justice" mentality into England and more importantly how is he going to express it on an international stage..
New England captain Kevin Nolan has welcomed the appointment..

I'm now going to have quite the smug "I told you so" moment. 8) I said on here many years ago that eventually they'd give the job to Fat Sam AllThePies and I was laughed at and ridiculed. :(

Well, laugh at that motherfuckers. They only went and gave it to him!!!

Giving the job of manager of England football team (the country that gave the world the greatest sport on planet Earth) to Slobodan MiLotsOfPies is like the UN appointing Pol Pot as a human rights ambassador!

Prepare yourselves for;

"Nolan!! Hoof it up to Defoe!! Crouchy!! Get in there - they don't like it up 'em!! Fuck this, I'm bringing Shawcross on!" :barscarf:

How long til he blames Wenger in a press conference "for bringing foreigners into game"
Depriving young English talent their chance.
His honours as manager are impressive.. League of Ireland title winner with Limerick in the early 80s..

The man has made a career by playing hoof ball footie and by stopping the better quality opposition footballers ................can you imagine how welcome that defeatist attitude will be within the English squad ? "Right lads we need to get in and stop their players playing cos they are better than us" ........this is the manager that will ingerland to glory again ?? You are having a laff and I would love to see a poll amongst the fans to see how "thrilled" they are at his appointment

Yep.

I have an under 10's league winners medal that is more enviable than a League of Ireland winners medal!

And here's the rub - he hasn't actually even been successful by doing that! He has "achieved" the bare minimum of avoiding relegation a couple of times and getting a couple of teams promoted. People lambaste Moron-hio for his negative football but at least that cúnt has won major trophies with his shit football. Has AllThePies won a PL playing that shit? Or won an FA Cup or the CL?? Has he fuck. He has won proper fuck all.

Oh, sorry, he did win the third Division title back in 1998!!

The footballing equivalent of winning a bottle of cheap wine in a pub raffle. Yippee! You go Sam!! :barscarf:

I'm starting to question English FA pretty seriously after this signing. I mean WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!!! It's not like there weren't any international managers available so what the fuck?
