On Mertersackers injury...Robson... we all know that players take much longer to heal at Arsenal so if Wenger is saying straight out the gate that it's months, it could be years. Kinda joking, but not really...

So who is actually responsible for the signings at Arsenal.... Robson.. Well it's meant to be Gazidis but everybody knows NOTHING happens without Wengers say so, Wenger RUNS the club. Wenger could have got Higuain for around half of what he cost now and if he had, Arsenal would have won the title last season. Wenger goes after the elite but doesn't offer enough, then settles for lesser players for much less money and they cannot win us the league.

Parry... but how much longer can Arsenal carry on like this, letting these guilt edged chances slip away, what is the problem there. Robson, emphatically, Wenger is the problem, if Arsenal had Mourinho, Pep or Conte they would have won the PL last season, they will NEVER win it again under Wenger.

Robson also spoke about fans attacking other fans who were critical of Wenger. He seemed almost incredulous.

There was more, a lot more, none of it good.

Parry said at the end that fans anger dissipates over the summer, the memories fade and the season tickets get renewed... then when the shit starts all over again in the new season, the anger re surfaces but then it's pointless boycotting the game because you've already paid for your ticket.........

It's not just us, there are people out there, even ex players who know exactly what the problem is. Pity there are so few who stand up to him.

That plank Brazil in the morning with Ray Parlour still think it's all good over at the Emirates. Of course Brazil seems to be in an alcoholic haze most of the time and Parlour is too shit scared to say anything in case Wenger comes round to his house.
Fair play to Robson, he is the only one who tells it like it is. I remember he got sacked from Arsenal's TV channel, because he was deemed to be too critical of the players. They replaced him with Adrian Clarke, who is happy to be a Wenger ass licker.

robson is spot on and has gone on record a couple of times to give the egotist a good ear bending. but some will say the way he was forced out the club initially (by graham) and again as a pundit has given him a bit of a grudge to bear. still think he's a decent Arsenal bloke.

Yea, good old "Clarkie" is often on Brazil's show in the morning yukking it up with the good old boys and treading lightly whenever Wenger's name comes up.In fact he was the Tosser who said we had the best chance of winning the league as we are the only top team that is starting the season "settled".

Settled with the same loser manager & players from the last 3 seasons??

Unlike Maureen he doesn't use past glory to justify his current position.
Maybe, as someone suggested it is the fans who are living on past glory and not the club.
We've got to remember we are the only club in football league history that has had a 20 year run of consistently finishing in the top 4 of the top league. It will end, and we will look back on the days when we used to play CL every season and finish in the top 4. Enjoy it while we can cos it won't last forever.

SO FUCKING WHAT :banghead: :banghead:

Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool have all won it during that time - Man City, Chelsea and Utd will probably win it before us while Wenker fiddles with his zip.

Agreed. He is the only one who tells it like it is and gives both barrels to The Old Fraud. Sadly, he's always tarnished as having 'sour grapes' over being sacked for telling the truth about how crap we've been these last several years.

FFS, the club had an experienced football man like Robson analysing our games and highlighting our many weaknesses and they tell HIM to fuck off?

No criticism is permitted of Kim-Jong Wenger's little lambs (and he built Cashburton with his bare hands too, you know) :barscarf:

The only worse ass licker on that channel, is Tom Watt. I remember that muppet with his propaganda, phone in show. Any one with even slight anti- Wenger sentiments were cut off, while pro Wengerites were allowed drone on, about their leader.

Couelin is now training at centre half, because with Mertesacker out, and Kosicleny being given an extended break, Chambers and Gabriel remain our only centre halves going into the new season. Its not like we have Liverpool and then Leicester City away first up.

Good to see Wenger is in control.

I just read the Robson interview on Talksport. Wenger chases the big players doesn't offer enough and settles for lesser cheaper players.
So we have 2 options either he will not pay the required money because he is an accountant and finance is very important or he is told from above he can't pay that money.
I think it's a mixture of both. Very few posters on here seem to be as angry with Kronke as they are Wenger.
Again our problems are a mixture of both. I don't see a new manager being allowed to spend the type of money that at least 4 clubs in the Premier League can.
Arsenal will never win the Premier League while Kronke is in control of his buisness. That's all we are now.

I can't contain my excitement at that. Eddie Howe, whoopee! That would just about sum the club up. Won't buy any decent players, settle for shit so why not do the same with the manager?

Come to think of it, I bet it's a PR plant from the club. Make up some bollox about some nobody potentially taking over and we'll all worry about be future and realise just how grateful we are to have Wanker as manager.

Not sure I agree with this. Hasn't Wenger himself said that transfer funds have never been withheld?
Just let the manager identify the players and then let someone else negotiate the fees. Other clubs manage it.
