WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fucking useless sack of shit is still here?

Shock horror.

There were some people who were convinced West Ham were going to swoop for him - they would have to be pumping some psychedelic drug around the Olympic Stadium in vast quantities to make anybody think about spending 20m and then 130k/w on this fucking no mark.

A couple of years ago my big hope was that the victims would come in for him as they were desperate for a winger........sadly it didn't happen

This summer the shammers were my one hope and sadly that doesn't look likely now either - without a doubt wally is one of the most over-hyped players in the past 20 years, but I am still surprised that the shammers have recognised this to the point that the likes of ayew is now considered a better option for them  In a lot of ways wally would have been perfect for them - a high profile player to mark their first season in the subsidised stadium, and the fact that he is English would surely have been a bonus
Have to say that we should spare a thought for the poor shammers fans - all summer long they have been led on by this promise of signing a top quality striker, and who do they end up with ? Andre fcuking ayew :coffeespit: :coffeespit: :coffeespit:

You say this but I have some mates who are season ticket holders at WH and shl and both sets rate him and want him at their clubs

Walcott has been giving the opportunity to take his footballing to any level he wants at Arsenal and he never took that opportunity. He had one good season where he scored 14 goals? Whatever the case may be, he is a poor poor player and never developed into a world class player.

The difference between the development of him and Bales is phenomenal.

I would gladly sell him and pack his bags for him.

Rodgers would have had him for silly money, especially after getting a kings ransom for Sterling. Shame.

I'm a winger. I'm a striker. I'm a winger. I'm a striker. I'm a winger.

He fucking reminds me of that TV character Vicky Pollard - Yeah but no but yeah but no but yeah!

Actually, Outrageous Fee-o, old son, you are not a winger. You are not a striker. You are not even a footballer. You are a runner getting seriously overpaid. :x :censored:

Like a new striker! :barscarf:

Forgive me for being cynical but I guess this means Lazcette (or any other) isn't coming!
