THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger has gotten complacent, that simple. He has lost the urgency and desire required to not only sign the players necessart to win the league, but to create the urgency and expectations within the sqaud he already has.
Giroud's 15 game goalless streak was a large reason for why we failed to win the league. Yet its like it never happened - all is forgiven and forgotten and it appears Giroud will likely enjoy another season as number 1 striker.
There is no accountability on Wenger's behalf, which in turn manifests into the players who play like they are devoid of responsibility for the outcome.
We have no leadership or direction, either from the manager or the executive level. So we just drift year to year, year to year, year to year. Its been like this for at least a decade now.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
How can Wenger talk about re sale value?? The thing is it is other clubs nowadays, here & there, and not that often either, who discover gems for relatively minor money... Kompany, Mahrez, Vardy..... Wenger still tries but fails miserably, Sanogo, Bendtner, Gervinho... the list is endless. So now clubs HAVE to pay top dollar and on the odd occasion we do... Ozil, Sanchez.... Wengers influence & "tactics"de values that player within the first year.
The reality is that Wenger does NOTHING to improve players with early potential.. Walcott, AoC, Chambers ...and those who are already proven like Ozil, lose value under him.
I'm sure AoC and even Walcott could have become much better players if they had gone elsewhere, or even stayed where they were. My daughter was best friends with Lallanas sister in Bournemouth growing up & I remember them praising and talking about Walcott and later absolutely raving about this kid Chamberlain who they had heard was coming up through the ranks. And where are they now..... irrelevant, smothered under Wenger.

Untold millions available to Wenger for transfers. Arsenal one of the richest clubs in the world and based in the nations capital. State of the art facilities. According to Wenger "a paradise" for players. Who wouldnt want to come to us and play under Wenger? Plenty apparantley.
All that money available to him.
Season after season he refuses to use it.
Says if he had £100million hed "give it back".
Says "The answer is not always to spend" or "Internal solutions" etc...
Admits hes never been refused transfer money by Kroenke or anyone else
Continually criticises other clubs transfer dealings
Excuse after excuse not to go all out to help us win and be exposed as a fraud.
Happily takes £8.5million for a wide top four target.
Yet theres still those who claim our transfer windows are an embarrassment because of Kroenke.
Now that is crazy

Funny how they have used the term 'vacated' when we all know TH14 was given no choice by the despotcluelesscuntofadictatortwat - To give up the Punditry job or sling yer feckin' hoook....ie: Stop criticising Arsenal.
I wonder how much Freddie will get for bending to wenger's demands? TH14 had even offered to do it for nothing....
Wenger proves what a despot control freak of a clueless cuntt he is yet again.

Personally, I blame Wenger for making Arsenal specialists in failure and Kroenke for having zero interest in preventing Arsenal being specialists in failure. In fact, he'll no doubt continue to endorse it by offering a lovely new contract to Wenger... if he hasn't already done so of course

We all knew he would use it some point - just how many times.....![]()
He also uses the same lame excuse of how (not in so many words) bringing in new players will kill off players already at Arsenal....
It also sounds as if Gazidis is pushing him to spend money and buy players be he (cluelesscunt) has to 'calm him down'![]()
FFS you couldn't make this up.
# WENGER OUT
For people that hate wenger, you lot seem to go to extraordinary lengths to listen to every word the man has to say.As league champions and their first foray into the champions league, Leicester gave made some stellar, world class player signings haven't they?
Just to add, if anyone remembers back to the beginning of the 19889/90 season, as champions we made an awful hash of it. Same will happen to Leicester.
There is a difference between 'going to extra-ordinary lengths to listen to every word ' someone says and 'listening in the hope that some cluelesscunt who lives in a world of illusion and treats the fans with utter disdain by lying and changing his (flawed) stories whenever it suits his purpose' in the "HOPE" that he just may eother have woken out of his self-induced delusional coma - or Surpise us all and "Resign".
But hey what do I know...other than your posts seem to be seeking to support him and criticise those that do not and rightly voice their opposition, bewilderment and utter disdain for someone who has clearly mis-led them whilst taking the club further down the road to failure with each passing season, preferring to place Profit ahead of Trophies.
Wouldn't life be boring if there wasn't an argument from another point of view, after all there is a right for someone to post an opinion in opposition to the "hate Wenger" brigade. I don't understand the hatred for the guy, he's coasting in a well paid job delivering targets set by his bosses. I'd put more blame on Kronke, Gazides and the rest of the board to demand at least one title per season.
What did you say the other day.... about how we would look back one day and miss all the CL nights and the years of qualification. So right there you just assume that whoever takes over from the "Great Man" will never get little old Arsenal into the CL. Because only Arsene can pull that off right?? He just can't actually compete in it, lets discuss that shall we??
At some point our run in the top 4 will end, with or without Wenger in charge. I'm not a coward as I'm not an AKB...I just like reminding so called supporters on here of our current status as a top 4 team. Utd, chelski, Liverpool are not top 4 teams, they're top 6 at best. Arsenal are a better, more consistent performing club domestically and in Europe. Consistent top 4, consistent last 16. Should we be better... absolutely. Top 2 and consistent last 4 in CL. The board don't challenge Wenger to do any better, so he's just delivering what he is targeted to do. He's just doing his job.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
With Gabriel injury, its not even a debate about the need for a striker and defender. We should have signed one before Meteacker was injured, but certainly after he got injured. Because with PM and LK out, we were going to rely on Gabriel and Chambers, but now Gabriel is out, and LK still not match fit - does that mean Rob Holding and Chambers will be out centre half pairing against Liverpool? Or Coquelin as a makeshift centre half next to Chambers?
This is the kind of stuff that makes you want to cry. As its one thing to be unfortunate with injuries, but when you dont prepare for them and you end up in situations like ours, you can only blame yourself for gross negligence.
The centre half pairing this week could be anything. As for who will play striker - the F knows. Maybe Wenger will give Theo another chance to shame himself.
Why do some fans still tolerate a manager who has overseen a situation, where one week out from the season, we are so woefully under prepared and undermanned? How is this acceptable to some fans?
It was a scandal last season not requicitng any outfield player, and its cost us a league title - what has Wenger learned, nothing!! He has doubled down and its the fuking muppets who still support him that give him the power to continue to fuk around. They are just as guilty as he is.

Nothing like giving Zlatan motivation to put 3 past us in our first meeting. He is the bargain buy of the decade. He's arrogant because he's earned it - paid for his wages and half the teams just in shirt sales already and WILL score 20+ premiership goals. Wenger is an imbecile.Wilson wrote:Wenger has questioned Zlatan's age and his capacity to be a great player this year.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Can't agree with that. The game is about winning trophies, not the "status" of qualifying for comps or finishing in the top 4. What's so great about being "consistent" runners up? I read that as consistent losers tbh.Nos89 wrote:You make so many assumptions in that statement I'm surprised you're not a Liverpool supporter.xisstential wrote:You're an AKB, you always have been, you just go about it in a cowardly way because you haven't got the balls to come on here and support him out & out.Nos89 wrote:OneBardGooner wrote:Nos89 wrote:

Look at the success of Manure, the Chav, and compare it to us, since we last won the PL;
Manure; 5 PL, 2 FA cups, 1 CL
Chav: 4 PL, 4 FA cup, 1 CL, 1 Europa League
The Arsenal: 3 FA cups.
I personally would trade every single top 4 finish, every single CL qualification for either of Manure's or the Chav's trophy hauls over the last 12 years.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He is a good financial signing because he will sell shirts certainly. But he won't score 20+ PL goals. He's past that stage in his career, particularly given the pace and physicality of the PL. He will spend a lot of time diving and complaining to refs. That's not to say he won't deliver at all, he is another option up front, and he will probably score some very important goals for them, after all great players don't turn shit overnight. But let's not lose the plot here, they have bought him long after his prime.Swifty wrote:Nothing like giving Zlatan motivation to put 3 past us in our first meeting. For me the real issue with them signing him is that it is a real statement of intent. Hey look at us fuck shitloads of money at a huge name like Ibrahimovitch. And then hey watch us fuck more shitloads at Pogba. Resale value? Fuck that. Their thinking is he might help them win the PL or the CL this season.
Us? We are concerned about resale value apparently...
