DB Drogheda is at least 20 minutes from Dundalk, and no I don't live there. And I am reporting you for attempted grooming :)

“I’ve fought all my life for footballers to make money but when you pay them before they produce it can kill the hunger,”

Mr Wenger, please may I reintroduce you to messers Bendtner, Denilson, and the biggest joke of a footballer going, Theo Walcott!

How can he say all this rubbish with a straight face??

Also, a link at the bottom of the article to another one where he admits to be scared of retiring. He's gonna have to be carried outta there.

Jesus Cycling Christ - the man does not do irony, does he?! :banghead: :cussing: :suicide:

He is the worst culprit in the history of the game for overpaying shit footballers that don't produce. And then extending their fucking contracts for years - with fucking pay rises!!! :censored:

Nothing like giving Zlatan motivation to put 3 past us in our first meeting. He is the bargain buy of the decade. He's arrogant because he's earned it - paid for his wages and half the teams just in shirt sales already and WILL score 20+ premiership goals. Wenger is an imbecile.

“It’s been my life and, honestly, I’m quite scared of the day,” Wenger says. “The longer I wait, the more difficult it will be and the more difficult it will be to lose the addiction.

“After Alex retired and we played them over there [at Manchester United] he sent a message to me to come up and have a drink with him. I asked: ‘Do you miss it?’ He said: ‘Not at all.’ I didn’t understand that. It’s an emptiness in your life, especially when you’ve lived your whole life waiting for the next game and trying to win it.”

Wenger’s comments appear to indicate he might want to work beyond his present contract, which expires at the end of the season, but for now he faces the considerable challenge of trying to win Arsenal’s first league title since 2004 without a massive outlay in the transfer market.

Interesting.....
Don't you mean frightening?

I knows it's the daily fail. But it does show how behind the times the senile old git is, and has been for years. Not saying anything we dont know, but apparently from the donkeys mouth.

I do love how, without even the slightest hint of irony, Wenger bemoans youngsters becoming millionaires before they’ve achieved anything.

He’s one of the prime drivers of the very phenomenon.

I just wish he would stop talking.

He stays because he wants to. Not because he loves the club and is self-sacrificing. He is staying for his own reasons, not for the good of the club though.

Its the fans who have to suffer because Wenger wont walk.

I cant believe Giroud is being rewarded with another season as number 1 striker. Even for Wenger, this level of arrogance is stunning.

I really do hate him. He subjects us all to avoidable misery just because his ego is to brittle to admit the criticism of Giroud is valid.

Interesting how that Daily Heil link has much more anti Wenger comments even allowing for his fans at other rival clubs :barscarf:

A bad start to the season could see the unrest building up again, & here's hoping the new contract will be put on the back burner! :box:

I guess there were times when we didn't have money after the stadium. We all waiting until that was paid off and gave the manager the benefit of the doubt.
Now we all know we have money but still we don't see it invested in a squad that is calling out for a defender and a striker.
I see it as a huge slap in the face to the fans of Arsenal FC. I think some of those that were on the fence last season will finely have had enough this coming season.

That old myth again...

When were those times? When we were overpaying shit like Song, Denilson, Almunia, Flappy, Vela etc etc top wages that were competitive with any of the big teams in the PL? The money (to a very usable extent) was always there; Wenger just wasted and mis-spent it on overpaying Project Ego players for years after it was obvious they were shit. :|
