I have never really trusted henry but his latest backtrack smacks of cowardice - last season he questioned girouds ability at this level and suggested that we need a better striker, and of course that led to a bitter backlash from le coq Now he is being interviewed on sky saying that we don't need a new striker - when you consider that a few months after he slated giroud last season, the lamppost went on a 20 game no goals streak, how can he now be considered to be a better player than before henry questioned him ?

I'm a Martinez fan as you know, but his dedication to the defensive side of the game, appears to be on a par with arsole's tactical awareness Stones looked a real player under moyes and can be that again - yes he is very much overpriced (isn't every English prodidgy ) but unlike ali and barkley, I believe that he has real quality potential and therefore the end price should reflect that (but of course it will be mostly paid up front)

I would sign Ashley williams and be happy to pay 15 Million for him. Yes he is 31 but is still playing at a very high level and never gets injured. We could get a very good 3 years out of him.
