Shame he didn't follow that rule in the champions league final with Robert pires then eh
Still sickens me to my stomach that the circle-dribbler Hleb stayed on that pitch when Pires was subbed. And then Captain Stupid Flamoney was brought on just to rub salt into the wound. :x  :x

As I'm not a shareholder or employee of the club, this means fuck all to me mate. I support a football club, couldn't give a monkeys toss about the business side.

Any ideas of a manager that has it all??
Please tell me you're on the wind-up... the old "who could replace him"? Literally anyone with an ounce of tactical nous. What about Low, Koeman, Ancelotti, Simeone (off the top of my head)? Conte has also moved this summer.

This type of pussified, bed-wetting shite is exactly why we are where we are - no league title in 12 years, failure to get beyond the last-16 of the Chumps League for about 6 years now, gaping holes in the squad left unaddressed for years, Walcott on 140k a week.... but don't worry because our food is "top notch"? :banghead:

fuck me my piss is boiling reading that shite :banghead:

Not sure which is funnier; postmanPat91's bed filled with pussy, piss and shite or Redarmy's boiling piss!

If you are genuine then you sum up everything I find so nauseating about modern football. I wish we could go back to the times where the kind of things that obviously appeal to you did not exist at football.

The game has been ruined by crap like corporate hospitality and people boasting about financial stability,

I know many claim that the money the corporate side generates has been good for the game but all I have seen since are obscene increases in prices everywhere and for everyone .... and so the average fan of the past is far worse off in every way than they were before.

There is this delusional belief that the game has progressed and continues to progress. For many who sustained the game for years before Sky TV came along, it simply hasnt. The whole circus that Sky come with and their saturated coverage of football is vile.

Loathsome business types have muscled their way in and dress up their own greed as them doing something noble for the game. As a result the whole dynamic of the football crowd has changed and attending a top flight game has become a soulless, depressing experience compared to what it once was.

And that leads me to the Emirates, which in my opinion is a grotesque stadium. Again it epitomises everything wrong with modern football and is the polar opposite of the stadium we left behind.

Moving to that monstrosity is the most tragic decision in Arsenal's history and for long term Arsenal fans it has compounded the other unwelcome changes made to the game in the last 20 odd years.

Yeah, the Emirates is shit. Perhaps our grandchildren/great grandchildren will see Arsenal return to a proper football stadium, though by then perhaps every stadium in the world will be sanitised corporate crap like The Emirates. I guess as and when every club has whored out its identity it will be less disappointing to see Arsenal in the space bowl.

I remember how I was really seeing the Emirates for the first time in person, yes the size and design was somewhat space age but at the time I also remember being disappointed with what you might say is the pitchside design, ie the pitch was too far away from the seating, that close connection the fans had with the players was much less apparent. Not quite as bad as stadiums in Italy etc where running tracks separate the pitch from the stand, but it wasn't like it was at Highbury.

There were many unique things about Highbury, they could have designed a giant North Bank to rival something like the Kop etc, it took them years to even move the clock over! I look around at stadiums like Dortmunds and wonder why we couldn't have designed something like that. Giant, single tiered stands behind the goal, close to the pitch, traps all the crowd noise and creates an intimidating atmosphere. That's the other thing about the Emirates. The atmosphere, or lack of it! Haven't been for 2 years and have no plans going back anytime soon.

So it also annoys me when modern fans excuse lack of success on the pitch for saying we have top finances, a great stadium (that I think will be ultimately surpased anyway by other clubs in the future) and great food!! I mean honestly.... if that is Arsenal turned around from 1996 then give me the old Arsenal anyday.

BBC: Arsenal manager unsure about Gunners future

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said his future at the club will be decided by how this season goes.

The Frenchman, 66, was appointed Gunners boss in September 1996 and his current deal finishes next June.

Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since 2004 and Wenger has faced criticism from the club's fans.

"My contract runs until the end of the season. What I will do after will depend a little bit on how the season goes," Wenger told BBC Radio 5 live.

He was linked with the England job before Sam Allardyce was appointed as Roy Hodgson's successor.

However, he said: "I was not available and Sam Allardyce has signed for two years, so the question is not of any actuality at the moment."

Arsenal start their Premier League campaign against Liverpool at 16:00 BST on Sunday.

Arsene Kroenke FC 1996 is now just a financial feeder club for the LA Rams, by giving the criminal fraudsters more money you are allowing Wiggy Kroenke to finance his new LA stadium development & make more money. :barscarf:

I love how he is making out as though he is under some sort of pressure to succeed. Like every other season, he will start off with his usual, "we want to win it" comments, and as soon as the actual challengers head off into the sunset, he will revert to proclaiming the VT as an achievement, and the media will lap it up.

Wonga - ""What is very difficult today is to find the quality of the players who are available and if you look well despite all the money that is available in England there is very little movement since the start of the transfer market"

Really Arsole? So far around 89 players have been signed by PL clubs for close to £1billion. Little movement? Only in your brain you fucked up demented narcissistic wanker! The truth is, there are no genuinely class players available for under 10m and that's where you're looking you fraud.

Oh, and on the post by mattdede.......obviously a wind up merchant but he says he is a business manager? Really     I wouldn't employ you in either of my businesses as a toilet seat wiper! Why? Because you are happy with 'mediocre', you are happy with 'doing ok'! Like Wonga said he would always be happy coming second, you have that same 'I'm happy with failing' view. You are no business manager you tit!!

What amazes me is that I still manage to be amazed by just how inept he is in the transfer market. I knew we would be left short and hardly had high expectations, but it is still dumbfounding that he can brazenly ignore our shortcomings and the monumental improvements made by Chelsea, City and United (not to mention the vast amounts being chucked around by just about every PL club all of whose already-massive revenue streams have jumped again, and yet still enjoy the unwavering cult loyalty of so many fans.

He isn't even trying to win the league any more - for the second summer in a row it's not about money but There are apparently no players out there who could improve our squad - how does he get away with spouting shit like that?

We were lied to about leaving Highbury and were being lied to every fucking time this charlatan opens his fucking gob.
