Piss takes v Pity

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So long as Pubis is employed to manage a football team then no, they're not.

With Pulis' bastard cousin Fat Sam in command, pretty soon Ingerland will be the most boring team in the history of everything ever.

If you think it is bad now, mate - wait until Fat Sam has Jermain Defoe misplacing passes with Peter Crouch, your midfield is made up of Jay Spearing, Neil Danns and Mark Davies (with Chris Eagles thrown in as the "flair" player) and Shawcrunt is your captain!

If we "go for it" we could end up like Portsmouth, or Leeds. :barscarf:

Real fans have patience.

That one particularly annoys me.

a bit of research and general knowledge of football will tell idiots that come off with this that both of these teams spent massively over there means to compete with the big boys, and were found with a massive whole in their pocket when the grander scheme of things didn't come around. We would need to actually spend in the first place for this to ever happen.

It also pisses me off because it implies there is no other option but to have either Wenger spend zero money or a new manager come in and spend so much we go bankrupt. What a stupid fucking argument. :x

I'd settle for a manager who does tactics and signs 2-3 great players each season 8)

Getting rid of TOF's overpaid shite and sideways football is a bonus! :barscarf:
