The man is a grade A Liar.
Contradictions, lies, hypocrisy every time he opens his now, not so wise mouth.

Gaping holes starting to appear in all he voices.

"The identity of the buyer multiplies transfers by two or three or even 10 times more."

:banghead: :banghead:

And it doesn't increase dramatically when the waft of fear and panic drifts across Europe and whatever bargain aisle he frequents for his trolley dash as he gets screwed over for leaving it too late and other clubs know we have to buy?

After his disclosure that he spends AFC's money like it was his own, it's going to eat him away when he has to write an even more ridiculous sized cheque now as opposed a couple of months ago. The day he oversees and has to ok this, will see his face contort as if his bollox was put in a vice.

Self harming to the end.

Wenger is such a c u n t !!!! Yet another tortuous transfer window :banghead:

He isn't our Financial Director or Club Accountant - his job is Team Manager which means that he is responsible for building and motivating a squad that can deliver trophies.

30 years in football plus immense resources available to him and the best he can do is make excuses. His constant inability to build a squad that can compete should make everyone realise that he is outdated and incompetent.

FFS - Ferguson hated spending big money on players but he did it when he had to and he could motivate. Time after Ferguson built and rebuilt winning teams. Time after time Wenger leaves us short. It's beyond a joke that this Old Fraud is still in a job.

Latest utterance from Wenger is that at half time against Liverpool he knew Ramsey had a hamstring strain but decided to send him out anyway ?

Heard some interesting discussion on Talksport last week (yea can you believe that???) If there is a really good striker out there and you think he is worth 30m but in this ridiculously over inflated market they want 50, alright, fair enough dig your heels in and refuse to pay as it is genuinely not worth it. BUT, if you can get him for 33m and he could well be the difference between finishing 2nd or 1st in your CL group, THEN YOU PAY IT. It's slightly more than you think he's worth but you grit your teeth and PAY IT!!

Not Wenger though, HE sets the price, he places the market value and he flatly refuses to pay one penny more than HIS valuation. The whole endless saga is all about HIM & HIS ego.

Btw has anyone noticed, we haven't offloaded one single player in the transfer market so we are STILL sitting with the same deadwood and the same MASSIVE wage bill. What a mess this man has made of practically everything he touches.

So what is Wenger's official job title? Not the imaginary one you think he has, his actual job title?
Martinez is a good manager, two years ago a lot of people wanted him to take over at Arsenal. Rumours link Arsenal to Eddie Howe as a Wenger replacement. Another, good manager.
As I've said before we will not get a great manager to take over from Wenger whilst we have this board.
I'm not so sure about this. I still think that the resources are there, Ivan the fuckwit has said that many times and so has wenker himself. Financially the club is in top condition, all the facilities are top notch so why wouldn't world class manager want to take the job? There are managers out there who has done great job with much smaller resources like Simeoni to name one.
I agree. For reasons I listed earlier I don't think we will struggle to appoint a decent new manager. The problem is vacating the manager's job. Wenger will not walk away. The owner/board will not sack him. The problem is NOT replacing him. The problem is removing him. :|
Only time will tell on this one. I seriously hope to be proved wrong by the board.
Removing him is easy...its the emotional...sorry...the financial attachment the board have with him. Wenger makes them money by somehow delivering champions league football every season. By hook or by crook, he'll do it again this season. I'm still laughing at how we managed to finish second last season, above Spurs...no trophy but still funny as fuck.
Then how is it "easy" to remove him?
Set him a target of Champions League win , or he's out. And, stick to it! A bit late as it looks likely this will be his last season.

Another goal for Zlatan. You think Giroud will catch him in the end?

I literally think Zlatan will score double what Giroud scored. I think Zlatan oculd score close to 30 league goals this year, whilst Giroud will get his decent 15 and will be among Defoe and Troy Deeney in the scoring charts, well behind Zlatan, Kane, Aguero and Costa.

Last season we smashed United at our ground. The consensus was, they had a dodgy manager in LVG, and a tired sqaud with not much quality. Yet in one transfer window, Man United revolutionized the club hiring Jose, and signing Zlatan and Pogba.

So whilst we used to laugh at United, lets face it, no Arsenal fans holds an expectation of running with this United team managed by Jose.

When Ferguson left, Man United fell of a cliff and went away - I said to myself, that we were ahead of them in the que in terms of next winning a league title. That is, we would win it before they would win it. But thats not what going to happen. Man United will jump the que, and win it before we do. Even though for the last two seasons, we have been vastly better positioned to win it.

On a side note, I cant respect Wenger when he lets his nemesis, Jose, treat him with impunity. Given the bad blood, Wenger should be frothing at the mouth and moving heaven and earth to beat Jose. Yet, Wenger appears happy to dither and win nothing, whilst Jose collects his medals. Its like a man who sits in the living room whilst his wife fucks some guy in the next room - he just allows himself to be humiliated. Man United will rape us this year, and we are going to have to take it, because Wenger doesn't have the testosterone nor the will to fight. Think back to the 6-0 mauling. Wenger just took it. He didn't do anything about. He sat their and took it, just like the 5-0 loss to Liverpool, and 8-2 loss to Man United.

He is a push over and is treated with impunity by the top managers. They want Arsenal in the last 16 of the CL. its also why Ferguson softened up to him - because Ferguson knew Wenger was in check, rather than someone who could rise up and beat him. Although Wenger will never know this, as he is blissfully ignorant in the assumption he is viewed as a worthy opponent by the worlds other top managers. Although with some self-awareness and introspection, he would realise the pundits, opposition managers, media and even his own fans, hold no regard for his capacity to beat the top teams and top managers.
