It's a pretty obvious ploy to put pressure on Valencia to capitulate on Mustafi' s price.

If we won't pay €35m for one defender we sure as Shi t won't pay €65

We won't even pay that for a top quality, superstar striker !

Don't you ducking start
"99.5 per cent of our ex players want to return"

More bullshit, that goes unchallenged by the press.

I would rather have senderos than johnny fcuking useless c.unt Evans, and i ain't messing when I say that.

Watching Southampton game tonight, and I have to say that van dijk impressed me greatly again - all over the park his team-mates were almost afraid to tackle either pogba or ibrahimovich, but van dijk showed no fear of those players, and he was composed when taking the ball out of the backline too 8)

Lawrenson stating what we all think

Arsenal posted increased profits of £25m last year and have cash reserves of £200m so, if you have no centre-backs available, does it really matter if Mustafi is over-priced by £4m or £5m?

Wenger also talking about playing Sanchez as main striker....which would assume he is not planning to buy anyone

Positive spin on all this....maybe, just maybe they are withholding funds to Wenger as he is going end of season????

‘We have Olivier Giroud, Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Chuba Akpom, Danny Welbeck and Yaya Sanogo who is still here but is injured at the moment — the players we buy have to be better.’

Good news Arsenal fans - Danny Welbeck could return from injury a few months earlier than was expected. Here's manager Arsene Wenger explaining how the serious knee injury suffered by the 25-year-old striker at the end of last season has been reassessed.

"He has an inflammation of his knee and they had to go in again to see if it is healing well or not," Wenger said.

"He had a second check, not a procedure, a check with a camera inside. If the healing was not good, he would have been out until April. The news was excellent and he will be back around Christmas."

Hope they put the camera inside the right leg. Give it a wash lads and stick it in Arsene's brain! Maybe it can tell us whats going on. Cause no other fucker knows!!
You could stick the camera in his brain or in his ass and you wouldn't tell the difference.

Gotta love Wenger...

“I believe a club like ours is focused on giving chances to the players we develop in our own club. We have a few strikers who have a chance, if we find the right players we buy. But if you ask people ‘give me names’, you see that it is not that easy – look at a club like Real Madrid, who have they bought? Up front, it is very difficult.”

The man is a deluded clown. Close out this thread. We aren't buying anyone. He has in the past week heard this:

1. Welbeck coming back 3 months early (sure - he is).
2. "Because they buy players at a very high price. That means there are very high wages linked with it and if they are wrong, they will have these players with high wages who cannot move anywhere else." - which is something that Wenger has perfected himself.
3. "If you want to make everybody happy, then just buy 20 new players and everybody is full of hope until the first game starts and then we’re back to reality." - what a wanker.
4. Sanchez can be our Suarez...

This year, more than any other year, he is just been talking total bollocks. Every press conference he has been in, he has lied, misrepresented facts and generally trolled fans. Yet there are a majority of people that go to the bowl that still worship him.

Apparently Joel " getting out while he can" on loan to Sporting Lisbon

So with Welbeck, & Iwobi Injured , the old fraud is happy to further weaken our squad by getting shot of the hard working, never stop running Campbell.

Campbell has vision, to make a killer pass, chips in with the odd goal, works for the team and generally happy to contribute.

I can see why the old fart deems him surplus to requirements :banghead: :cussing:

Hmmm ... who among us can identify anybody better than this group of sharpshooting hitmen?

Giroud - 2nd rate striker

Sanchez - quality but not a striker

Walcott - 2nd rate, not a striker

Welbeck - 2nd rate, not a striker, injured

Sanogo - nowhere close to 2nd rate, injured, not a striker, not a footballer.

No idea what Campbell has done so wrong. Yes he isn't the greatest and he shouldn't be starting every week for a team with title aspirations but he is more than adequate cover for the quality players who should be filling those positions. He is superior to Walcott at any rate that's for sure.

No striker coming in then, despite Sanchez always looking lost when he has every played up front on his own. As others have said, hopefully he now isn't actually allowed to spend anything so it can be saved for the new manager next summer, fingers crossed!

I'll be honest losing Campbell on loan worries me greatly, he is not great technically but he is streets ahead of others in terms of work rate and providing support to his full back something none of the others are able to, his fall from grace once again seems to have been brought on by the fans reaction to him being subbed off last season when he was having a good game and was starting to really gel into the team :banghead:
