The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm desperately hoping that someone else nips in and pays up the 30m or so that Valencia want because this whole season is already a write off without a major striker, the plank in goal and a wafer thin squad (flaky midfielders apart)

Would love to see some Joe Averages like West Ham stump up 30m for him and leave Shit for Brains blathering on to the press or anyone that listens that he's unearthed the new Moore in Rob Holding

Well, Holding has already kept more clean sheets than £50m John Stones.

I think you'll find Wenger gets £8million a year for just that. :rubchin:

AW is being reported today as saying that it is not money that is the problem, but identifying the right players!!!!!!!!

If only we had lots of highly paid scouts and a manager with 30+ years in football, we might know of some players who could improve our squad.

Alternatively we could invest 30 quid in FM 2016.

It's being reported that Wenger's dithering has brought the price up for Mustafi. If that happens, I will laugh and know that it will be his last season. I had thought that he would bring someone else in, but now, I am not so sure. I reckon that even the trolley dash will not happen. If that is the case, then I am happy as we will fall out of the top 4 and some of the more inexperienced lads will have a year of experience under their belt for the new man.

The man is an absolute idiot for letting it get to the point where even the most staunch AKB can't defend him.

A couple of wins against relegation fodder and the window lickers will be back on his Johnson with "we knew Arsene would come good" and "It's a marathon, not a sprint!" Although judging by Saturday's performance I can't see us beating anyone
