Watford away thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The mighty Gillingham beat them at Vicarage Rd last night, over 120 mins, so with them being beaten and tired I'm hoping we can't snatch a draw.

Wenger needs a win. We are going to proper fuck them 5-0. Giroud goal of the season contender. 98% possession. 100% pass completion rate. Outrageous Fee-oh will score.

Okay - that last bit was an exaggeration.

"Credit to Watford.....they defended very well" - tick that one off on your bingo card come Saturday evening

We aren't winning this one with this team. Normally I'd have us down for a duck shoot but with no striker, Giroud looking fucked, and a Kos injury away from defensive meltdown I won't be putting money on us going into any away game in the PL

A few punters on here forgetting the "Wenger Factor".

A few stirrings of malcontent in the press? A punter holding up a banner? One of the usually pro-Wenger journos questioning his ability? Needs a win to get the window lickers singing TO1AW?

:rubchin:

Slam, bang 5-0 to Arsenal. Put your money, house, wife, kids, balls (in Gus/Percy's case, badly-stuffed kebab) on it. :|

It'll either be a walkover or a collapse. Really can't call it.

There's some hope that this might be the beginning of the end and TOF won't get his standard lucky result to save his arse.

I do expect the game will be fucking awful to watch though 8)

Going to be a tight, cagey affair IMO. I think one goal may win this. Think we may just snatch the win.

Sounds like a humdinger, with the reward for having 98% possession and 2650 completed passes in the centre of the field leading to that last gasp goal.

Can't wait............said no one ever.

I'll be hoping for a Watford win to keep the pressure on Wenker! An Arsenal win and a couple of signings will see the propoganda machine will go into overdrive
