The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How the fuck can you try to negotiate instalments for a nothing transfer, unless Kroenke has spent our loot in a house of ill repute.

Typically, around this time every summer, Wengers ever diminishing standing goes down further (If even possible)as we wait to see what falls out of his still burning friction wheeled trolley. Normally with five days to go to any transfer Window slamming shut, this place braces itself for meltdown and Hostgator overkill as we vent frustrations at his trolley folly or lack of action. This year ? At this point there is a calm angry resignation as a lot of people see it as a win win situation and the want to see the bigger picture, i.e managerial death by a thousand cuts due to his usual failings and willingness to learn from past mistakes. Won't be so much every ones piss boiling over at the end of this window, but a slightly tepid urine alert :) Gonna be a weird one for the mods not being on red alert, solicitors details at the ready :) Here's to this being his second last window :barscarf:

Mustafi and Perez done.

Nice to know we're competing with the likes of Everton for players.

The clamour to sign Mustafi has made we laugh. "Sign him, we must sign him!" Nobody knew who the fuck he was until July!

And who is this Perez? The only Perez I vaguely remember was a long haired gigolo type in goal for Sunderland!

INSTALLMENTS!?!? What the fucking shit is going on at this club!? FFS is this some big cover up and we don't actually have this £200-odd mil or something? Has Wiggykunt and Wanka nicked it by any chance!? WTF :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Who and who? Fucking two-bit nobodies. No other club wants them so that's why we'll end up getting them. In the days of players going for £90m, paying £17m for a striker means he's shit. Wanker is fucking honestly obsessed with his own myth. He's convinced he can still unearthing hidden gems when nobody else actually cares. Just remember when this utter nobody becomes the next Giroud/Sanogo/Gervinho that we're competing in the same fucking price bracket as Bournemouth.

Everton which is now owned by an ex Arsenal shareholder are behaving in a manner we should as a much bigger club but we don't.
They've got a better manager and ambition that no longer exists at Arsenal.

Just listened to talk sport in the kitchen whilst putting out the re-cycling & stuff...and they all (including cwossy) were saying that had wenker not fuckedabout and made a proper offer for Suarez instead of the derisory and hugely insulting £40mill+£1 - we could have won the prem that season and maybe the following season also... That he is not able to conduct transfers in an efficient manner and 'dithers about till it is too late' and that was Cwossy !

Why is it the whole world can see that he is well past his sell by date as a manager and yet he still thinks he knows better than everyone else...

I really have tried to get my head around it and the man must be insane...

And sure enough as I predicted with very little effort, Wenger wants to spend 15-20m on a middle aged journeyman striker to lumber us with another average player who is not going to help us win the title.

Best of luck to the bloke if he does sign but after searching high and wide, the only player we have found in the last few months who could improve our squad is this absolute no-mark.

Seriously look at his career - we are a fucking laughing stock looking st the players our rivals are signing. If we are fighting with Everton for transfers we will be fighting with them on the pitch soon enough.

Why is everyone so distraught? :D As the pragmatist I am, I don't see this Perez deal as all that bad. Yes, massively underwhelming but he's quick and has an eye for goal and can run in behind. We've missed those qualities for years with that big useless French donkey stinking up the place.

We supposedly turned him down last week before going back
