apparently Perez is like Nolito . . . . . . . . .. . but worse, in the same way Giroud is like Ibrohimovic,Arsene knows

Not seen much of him at all but do question that he can play the lone role up top -markyp wrote:apparently Perez is like Nolito . . . . . . . . .. . but worse, in the same way Giroud is like Ibrohimovic,Arsene knows
so he either plays wide, is a sub for when we get desperate or we completely change our set up that has served us so well these last few years

He will get more chances than Giroud as he plays on the shoulder, half turned and can actually run with the ball and get a shot away (Theo take note)
Not a signing to get excited about but offers an alternative style.
Mustafi - overpriced but just glad that the Big ducking coward will in all likelihood not put on our shirt again, which should have happened last season but Wenker just can't see it.

social meeja gone into gooner frenzy with these signings, Perez is the new Henry, some journo said 'you wanted wenger to spend and hes done it,in your face' what a twat, hardly Lewandowski is he,as for mustafi hes got to be better than anything we have already so a good move,i fear perez will be used to death even if hes not scoring goals just so wenger can prove everybody wrong about him even though he prob gonna be gash.but WTF do I know

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
I get the feeling that Sanchez and Ozil are the last big signings we will see for a long time. We have a manager who can no longer convince big players to sign. Any top player will be looking at the likes of Sanchez/Ozil and will see their current predicament as a cautionary tale. Any player with a bit of ambition will end up with Man United, Chelsea or City. That leaves us to over pay for players who, at best will keep us in the top 4, but will do zero to push us towards winning the league.

I hope we don't fuck up this Mustafi deal.
Embarrassing that we've gone back in for the Spanish Donkey.
This is why we came to Cashburton, lads

Not to worry once wenker gets his hand son him and instils his 'style' of playing and no shooting unless you're 2 feet from the goal line those stats will diminish rapidly.augie wrote:Jesus H Christ ssn have just showed some of perez's stats and they DO NOT make good reading -
Shot Accuracy 50%
Goals To Shots 17%
Le lamppost has a better conversion ratio and the last thing we need is a striker who is even worse than giroud![]()

Graham Hunter: "Barca wanted Lucas Perez but were told [Wed night] he was en-route to Arsenal - terms were done & it was going to happen."
The AKB'S will cling to this, as proof the guy is world class.

If any good should score 20 in a season with Ozil setting him up, looks mobile so improvement on Giroud
Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Wenger can fuck off and take these two signings with him ! Too little too late as far as I'm concerned! We needed signings pre season! We are already 5 points behind the clubs that will challenge for the title ! These signings are no more than an attempt to get disgruntled fans back on his side so fuck him!

Do either of these guys qualify under the "super, super quality" that is one of Wenger's conditions?

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
This is what I'm saying. He has basic striker qualities by all accounts which we haven't had with the useless French Donkey and Walnut. Give him consistent service and see what he does, can't be any worse than it is now.Redarmy wrote:BFG4 wrote:Graham Hunter: "Barca wanted Lucas Perez but were told [Wed night] he was en-route to Arsenal - terms were done & it was going to happen."

I think a punt on shane long with service form ozil wouldn't have been any worse than Perez, but hey ho lets give him a chance and welcome him with open arms.im already counting on him having that great second season

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
The thing that concerns me most about these new signings is the re-sale value. Hopefully Wenger can make Stan nice profit on themarseofacrow wrote:Do either of these guys qualify under the "super, super quality" that is one of Wenger's conditions?
