Holding looks decent so far, but so did Chambers when he first joined...good backup to Mustafi.

The Smiths:

Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've
Heard this one before
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
Nothing's changed
I still love you, oh, I still love you
...Only slightly, only slightly less than I used to,

A win is a win but there were still moments when we looked worryingly disorganised and a better team would have been more testing.

Just finished a nine hour drive up through Spain so didn't see or hear a minute, but it sounds like we did OK.

Apparently Watford have bought 23 players!! The family that own them and Udinese are gits and play with their possessions like drunk teenagers on FM 2016.

It sounds like we played with one DM. Is AW doing tactics??

Why is it when we are putting teams to the sword in the first 45... Man.U , Watford today ...... we decide it's job done at the break then lose the 2nd half or dawdle through it without any further exertions???

That is why we will never win anything, we are not ruthless enough and we lack any kind of killer instinct. I can only imagine the praise lavished on them at the break by Wenger.... none of this "go out and finish them", more like effusive praise, job done, lets shut up shop.

Spot on mate. Spot on. And it's been that way for years under Wenker's mismanagement.

I was sitting right behind the Man Utd fans in the 1-3 defeat 2009 CL semi final. When Ronaldo scored their 3rd to put them 3-0 up on the night and 4-0 up on aggregate, the difference between a winner and a loser was never more evident.

We needed 5 goals in 30 minutes to go through but when Ronaldo ran to the bench to celebrate Ferguson screamed at him to get back on the pitch and almost shoved his players back out. I could see Ferguson jabbing his finger against his temple telling his players to switch back on and concentrate.

As I said we needed 5 goals in 30 minutes and that Arsenal team was piss poor. That's exactly why Ferguson was the ultimate winner and Wanker is a Specialist in Failure.

I've wanted him gone since that moment.

Yeah TBF they were very good in the first half, Xaha and Ozil impressive, Bellerin back to form BUT.......

In the second half fuck knows what wingers says to the....as Watford had 2 good chances around 70 mins, if one had gone in and made it 2-3 they would have been hanging on....

And this is Watford....imagine against a good side that would take their chances

Still a win is a win....

Glad to hear Xhaka did well.

Depressingly I can't take any pleasure in this win at all and wouldn't have been disappointed had we been spanked.

We are not going to do anything in the PL or CL this year so the one thing that matters is getting rid of Wenger.

Yeah it's all very well people saying ''a wins a win'' but I cannot think of one positive thing a win brings!

Getting Wenger out is the ONLY important thing and any win make that less likely.

Yes.
It really is a case of a totally wasted season pandering to Wengers inflated ego. I just hope that while we all suffer waiting for him to go at the end of the season it is equally as difficult for him and he ends up exposed for the fraud, liar and incompetent fool that we all know he is.

I used to just wish he was gone and that would have been enough for me and yes I suppose it still is, but increasingly I want to see him suffer. I want him to be publicly humiliated and leave through the back door, without fanfare, albeit with a hefty wedge but leave as the failure. just fuck off, his name sullied, the bastard.

Great to get our first win under our belt.

Xakha could be the new petit based on todays performance! 8)

Happy for ozil, cazorla and sanchez too. The ox wasn't great though.

Still, win was the main thing. Pity there's an interlull :x
