On a serious level, can the mods shut down this fcuker now ? There will always be a transfer thread on here (sadly) but surely it is better to have a different transfer thread for every window or season ?

tbh it's just easier to have the one constant open transfer thread and let people add to it as they please. It does its job when the windows roll around and puts in a nice subs appearance in between windows even though it may look a leetle beet red zone with ze handbrake on after 30 years in football...

Serious suggestion: If we are keeping a permanent transfer thread open, how about we merge all the previous transfer threads with this one and see if it ends up bigger than the Wenger Thread

We could read it as a reflection on Wenger but tbh it is pretty standard nowdays for the best players to have such a clause, it helps keep their options open.
