THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Add to this all the talk about wenker being afraid of life after football and how he doesn't have anything in his life outside Arsenal. The guy's here for life I'm afraid.
and the £9 MILLION a year he will be missing, poor guy needs that for his retirement plan
Thinking of his results it actually seems that he has retired already years ago... What are we, a football club or a retirement home?

I also wouldnt put it past Wenger to handpick someone not up to the job, in order to make him look good by comparison. Make no mistake about it, Wenger would love his own David Moyes.
Wenger decides who takes over
Which means that we will have our own David Moyes.

It wont be until two years MINIMUM, that AFTER Wenger leaves before we could actually start building toward something bigger.

Wenger is going to pick a fuking idiot to replace him.

If wenger does do the choosing - which is most certainly on the cards - he will get in a weaker version of himself (Wenger Lite) ie: a certain ex-Everton manager renowned for his deep knowledge and speaking bollocks - a bit like the despot we have in charge at the moment only WORSE!. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I wouldn't mind Eddie Howe. As long as he is not hand-operated by TOF.

Has anyone read this thing? If so, does it paint over the cracks and ignore the last 10 years, like the cover implies? If it does, can someone get in touch with Amy and ask her to come on here and defend that shit?

I reckon its about as transparent and honest as "United Passions'.

But seriously who would buy that book?

Is their still an appetite for the same old Wenger cliche's?

Sadly the answer to your question is Yes.. The appetite is there among the" There's only one " brigade who have no problem going to any length to quell any dissent...
