Why should the club give a fuck about winning the Be All and End All?
The club stand to make:
- €12M for group stage participation
€1.5M per group win
€500K per group draw
€5.5M per R16 reaming
They shall be disappointed that they didn't make the €2.1M+ for getting through to the group via the play-off. Of course, there will be no more play-offs for the Fourth Place Trophy now. No wonder we call it the Money League.
All that fucking money we make and we won't spend it on anyone useful or reduce ticket prices.

No reason why we shouldn't expect to be in Europe's top 8 with our stature and resources.
Pathetic, isn't it?
Scandalous, really
TOF thinking he can still win this competition is like a man with no arms trying to knock out Mike Tyson

It was laughable that we were top seed in the group for so many years when we had to go through the play-off to get in.
Had they not changed the rules to (rightfully) give champions the top seed, we would have slid down the order anyway. The co-efficients take into account the past five seasons. Seeing as we've done fuck-all special since 2010, it stands to reason.
I see we're
11th in the UEFA rankings as of this season. Fighting off the giants of Porto and Sevilla. Citeh are close to overtaking us in the near future. Dortmund, PSG and Benfica are above us. Chelsea are still above us, despite not being in it this year.
Still, we're above Manure and the scum
Anyway, it's now 19 qualifications in a row this season
