A football ground resembling a boutique with the name Primani above the door is the only thing that is missing...

Both of those stories sum up how pathetic and arrogant Arsenal have become under Wenger's mismanagement. Can you imagine Ferguson putting up with shite like that??augie wrote:Only in Planet Wenkerworld ............

They're like a bunch of privilieged private schoolboys congratulating themselves when they've achieved fuck all.
This shit arrogant attitude all comes from Wenger - talking them up in mid September when all they've done is beaten 10 man Hull.

That selfie shit makes me cringe so much. Fucking embarrassing.Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:Both of those stories sum up how pathetic and arrogant Arsenal have become under Wenger's mismanagement. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
No wonder Vardy and according to some circles Mahrez told Wenger to fuck off...
Personally I supported and respected their decision, but the Arrogant Wengerphiles thought
"How dare they turn The Arsenal down", well with a load of kids taking selfies of themselves thinking they have won the league and with Wengers blessing, I think I now know who they really turned down...
So glad Leicester won the title and stuck two fingers up to the so called elitists....

Sticking up a bust of Wenger - not only whilst he is still alive, but still managing at the club - is crass and tasteless. Similarly the statues of Bergkamp, Adams and Henry are a bit tasteless.
Napoleon I can understand, but Wenger ain't no Bonaparte!...
Talking of patting yourselves on the back ... how many clubs out there have a bust and a statue of someone who wasnt even a player or manager?
And if thats not enough he even gets a bridge named after him

Apparently Wenger has said if - IF he is to stay on then the club must buy him one of these new Land World Speed Shopping Trolley's fro his last minute dashes.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wasn't only the "Arrogant Wengerphiles" that said "How dare they turn The Arsenal down". Many many anti-Wenger posters here (me included) said it - particularly in relation to one season wonder Vardy. Of course it is indicative of what Wenger has done to Arsenal that players like Mahrez now consider us a bad risk career wise. As for Vardy? He has big fish in small pond syndrome, much like Le Tiss had at Southampton. He didn't have the balls for a move to a big club. And tbh we might have dodged a bullet with him. I doubt this season he'll have anything like the season he had last year.Allgunsblazin wrote:No wonder Vardy and according to some circles Mahrez told Wenger to fuck off...

The only reason I'm glad Leicester won it last year is because it was part of stopping the vermin from winning it. The other part of course being their absolute pathetic bottling nature.

It's too early to knock Perez but in a window that saw very few decent forwards available Leicester got Slimani. I was waiting to see how he did and he scored twice in his first start. Time will tell but he does look a decent player.

I think there's a difference between being available and being unwilling to meet players release clauses. Most of our targets seemed to fall in the second category.supergeorgegraham wrote:It's too early to knock Perez but in a window that saw very few decent forwards available Leicester got Slimani. Which in itself is amazing as Wenger won't pay the going rate for real quality but he regularly overpays for utter shite.NickF98 wrote:I think there's a difference between being available and being unwilling to meet players release clauses. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
This is almost 2 years old now but just seen this interview with Wenger.
The evil bastard almost seems human for the first part but the people speaking in the last few mins or so are pretty nauseating to listen to.
