Rentboys at home (24/9) 5.30pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Enjoyed that so much. Even Feo put in a 'shift' !!!. Only a result like that against the 'Scum' could be better. We knocked the ball around great today. Can't wait for Wednesday. :barscarf: :barscarf:

At game with my son, stood in back row of family section for 90 mins, cracking atmosphere, singing for the whole match, gave the away section dogs abuse and loved every second of it, I'd forgotten what it's like to be proud of my team, have to say the stewards in the section were excellent, friendly and had no problem with anyone, one last point, whoever came up with the idea for half and half scarves should be strangled with one!

Good post, I felt the same yesterday listening on Talksport.. This was a throwback to a time we felt part of Arsenal FC...Glad your son enjoyed it..
The half and half scarves are an insult to genuine football fans.. It ain't fucking rugby you know..

We did play well the second goal was just magic by Iwobi they could have had defense any age they liked the ball was pinged arround too fast and crisp to anything but watch it!

That tackle by Bellerin on Pedro was the best tackle I've seen since TA's tackle on Sevchenko at Wembley against Kiev. Tackle of the Season, if there was such an award.

Just as enjoyable today as it was yesterday.

There is still a part of me that gets frustrated seeing us play like that because it proves we are being shortchanged in so many other games. If the team had at least attempted to play that way more often then many of us wouldn't have stopped going and we may have won more.

It costs nothing extra to play with that tempo or determination. Its always effective and seems to get results but for some reason we always revert back to the slow insipid crap that is not effective.
