Post by nut flush gooner »

So past or present I wonder. If I was a bookie, I would have arry as an odds on favourite.

No way will the twitcher be touched by the meeja - he is almost a national institution in their eyes, plus his thick as shit son is "one of them" now

In an ideal world pubis, Pardew, hughes and old ferguscum would be named and shamed, but in reality it is more likely to be more no-names like eric black and tommy wright

Seems like 'Arry would be better off staying out of football, thanks to his dodgy knees, etc  Rosie the dog better have her Swiss bank account password at the ready

Sounds like one could be Pardew. Apparently one of the eight takes bungs to supplement his 'meagre' income. Though I am a bit disappointed it seems to be Championship assistant managers so far.

It would be hilarious if TOF was guilty, given some of the reserve and youth team shite he's signed over the years. Although he probably is too rich to even need a bung :banghead:

'arry caught admitting his boys had a little bet on their own game...don't think he said which club he was at when it happened... He obviously broke some rule by not informing the FA... I think if that's all they have on him he will be breathing a sigh of relief today..

I can remember one of our matches ( but not the opposition ) a few years back when they booted the ball out wide direct from kick off straight into touch and instantly thought it was deliberate.

Where there is money to be made, someone will always be looking to cheat / break the rules.

A pundit on Soccer Saturday on Sky admitted to kicking the ball into touch from the kick off because there was a bet on there being a throw in in the first minute..

In fairness both squads, both coaching staffs, all the match officials and every fan in the ground should lump money on that bet - if the bookies are stupid enough to offer such ridiculous bets, then they deserve to get cleaned out by the punters

I was praying that There's Only One would be involved but then someone informed me that it was related to player transfers and at that point I gave up

I remember that, hardly surprising as he is a bit of a loose cannon, the shows producer that day must've choked on his sandwiches  - Gillette Soccer Saturday about 5 or 6 years ago he admitted spot fixing to try and win a spread bet for thousands in a match against Wimbledon  it was suddenly very awkward in the studio with Jeff Stelling squirming in his seat  particularly as it was one of Sky's main pundits and an England favourite it was suddenly, ahem................. move along nothing to see here and has never been mentioned since - it was Matt LeTissier
