For your sanity, avoid Twitter at all cost, guys. The wenker cock sucking on there is unbearable.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I seen that TOF-cocksucking programme
Not a surprise to see it being window-licker central. I do wish there was someone other than that wanker Piers Moron representing the WOB - would have loved to have seen Stewart Robson on there. Keown was an absolute fucking disgrace. He's doing/done well to talk himself out of his legend status. Yet another another appearance of the classic 'earned the right to decide when he leaves'. I noticed he was getting hostile towards Moron for being a WOB.
Disappointing to see such loyalty from Wright and Hartson, whom TOF had out the door as soon as he could. Of course, as people have said, they will never criticize each other.
The double-speak was rife. Much praise for the first decade and the common sense changes he made to end the drinking culture at the club and then lots of bullshit philosophising on the failed second decade. The 'stadium card' was played yet again, despite him having £30M per season all along and getting revenue from sold players and pissing away transfer fees and high wages on shite. The failed Project Youth. The ongoing vanity projects with players. Predictable substitutions. Playing players out of position. No tactics, or variation. No defensive training. Frustrating sideways football. Limp-dick collapses. Predictable seasons. Bottling about five chances to win the title since moving to Cashburton.
I'm glad that Moron got mention of the £8.3M salary at the end. No wonder TOF loves it here; unlimited power and stupid wages to train passing drills for a couple of hours per day and to tell our pampered pussies to 'Go out and play'.

It should be locked, but remain as a bitter 'time capsule' and a cautionary tale.Bradywasking wrote:I think it should be left open for ever as a warning to future generations of Gooners..This is what can happen if a manager is too long and has too much power in the position..postmanPat91 wrote:We could turn it into a long overdue 'Let's all laugh at England' threadNos89 wrote:If wenger becomes the next full time England manager do we get to keep this thread?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Keown again.... he has his head so far up Wenger's A$$ I'm surprised he can breathe let alone talk.
‘It helps his cause that United have been so poor since Ferguson went,’ said Keown. ‘Stan Kroenke will be wanting more of the same and will try to keep him.
‘The toughest single decision Wenger will face is when to leave his beloved Arsenal. He will know when the time is right.
‘But he needs to be involved in the succession plan. Great leaders get the big decisions right.
‘His legacy is not in danger. If he was to leave, he would leave a hero, the biggest name in Arsenal history. It was a big club when he arrived, a famous club. But look at it now!
‘He has developed a style and brand of football famous throughout the world and a stadium with the facilities fit to stage football at the highest level. He will be thinking only about the future.
‘This does not feel like the end for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.’
It's absolutely frightening how people like Keown link Wenger with the "end" of Arsenal. The graveyards are wall to wall with "irreplaceable" people.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger will not make a decision on whether to stay on until the campaign ends, but when asked if there could be a 25th anniversary at Arsenal in five years, he told a news conference: "I rule nothing out because I want to work. And I want to do well.

Let's not beat around the bush here - Keown is an absolute *word censored*. Great player and an Arsenal legend the day he retired, but have lost every bit of respect for him I ever had. He's a complete disgrace.

erm, yeah how did that work out at the mancs?

why do former players come out with such shite, ffs. we had wilshere wishing the chavs luck in the cl final 4 years ago which is still probably the most hideous thing a player connected to our club has ever said but i think what keown just said is the least self aware thing ever?
can't wait until this arse licking business with wenger is over with. please for the love of england take him
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Merson on Wenger: "20 years at one club is an incredible achievement. But it’s too long. Any other big club would have sacked him by now"
"Arsenal should be in the title race every year. They should be fighting for it every April. They havent won the league in 12 years"
"He’s stuck in his ways & he refuses to change. It’s actually hurting the club now but they won’t sack him"

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Granted we are doing well, not just results wise, but we are playing well and look like we can really carry on and have a competitive year. But before any of this can be realised, Keown and the like are declaring victory, whilst Wenger is flirting with the England job, which is just him showing any critics that he has options and is coveted.
Why cant the manager, and everyone at the club including former players, and even supporters like Ty from Arsenal fan tv, just remain subdued?
This is one of the reasons why we so often fail - because we self-congratulate when the fight is still on. Giroud was doing it last year, patting himself on the back for his good first half of the year, only to do fuk all the second half of the year. Wenger was also talking himself up, about proving the critics wrong, even when the season was still going. I guess he assumed Leicester would be reeled in so easily.
Our form and results will mean nothing until the players and Wenger, kicks this juvenile habit of seeking praise and reassurance for doing a good job. Why does Wenger keep pretending he is interested in the England job? We all know its just an ego trip.

But that's what happens.
Power Corrupts
Absolute Power (which is what wenger has at The Arsenal) Corrupts Absolutley...
His ego is so out of control it is truly frightening, because there are so many unconscious AKB's who go along with it...it's as if they have all been drugged into some trance comatose state where whatever he says is gobbled up and whatever he does is never challenged...much the same as Kim Jong Un the North Korea despot and ruler.....
Wenger's Ego Will Be Our Downfall as a Club.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
History is written by the winners and Wenger is a winner in that by still bieng in charge ,he is writing his own story ,airbrushing out the uncomfortable bits and turning himself into the hero that saved us from ruin . Its a fucking masterstroke of genius. I expect a rounding up of wobs to be burnt as heretics any day now . Did u notice the white aura growing stronger during the program . Notice no dennis berkamp or vierra fawning over him just those who did well from him or those who need him now or like cambell n wiltord with nothing else to do !

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He now refers to his fuck up's and the trophyless years of failure as "Inconvenient Facts" says everything about the despotic cun.t and the regime he now runs.
And that programme !
Jezzzuss HChrist..
Amy Lawrence !? Strange name for bloke
I was sorry to see Wrighty taking part - and having since listened to him on Radio 4 yesterday - He was part of a programme to discuss as in promote his new book, which is fair enough. But when he spoke about his early years when he had a family to provide for and had more or less given up all hope of making it as a Professional player and how the Arsenal team and fans became his emotional family, with various coaches being like father figure's etc I guess it is understandable that Wenger holds a special place in his affections, but the rest of them especially Keown; Great Player, yes, but what a suck holecunt when it comes to wenger.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I just watched that Wenger debate thing on BBC iPlayer.
It wasnt as bad as I was expecting to be honest and I quite enjoyed parts of it.
As usual though, Kool-Aid Keown does take things to an unacceptable level
. In addition to this programme, he also had a 2 page piece in Saturdays Mail. In praising Wenger he says some derogatory things about the club before Wenger arrived and to add to his worship of Wenger seems to not to want to show George Graham in a good light ... which is disgraceful. Graham genuinely was working on a budget, not awash with Sky / PL money.
And among a lot of the nonsense about Wenger one of the things that gets on my nerves is how he has improved the training facilities and travel arrangements. Does Wenger also take credit for those things improving with every other top club in the last 20 years too? And are we meant to believe that if it wasnt for Wenger would Arsenal still be stuck in a 1996 time warp? Of course facilities have improved ffs! Thats what happens over the course of time.

Agree Clash, it was quite nauseous watching Keown state that we weren't a big club before Wenker arrived.Clash wrote:I just watched that Wenger debate thing on BBC iPlayer.

It has more to do with social media / tv coverage in general - ALL premier league clubs are so much bigger, with more resources than 20 years ago.
Leicester are adored in China too, bit just Arsene FC
