The Shkodran Mustafi Thread

Vermalen was a good CB but when alongside Kos it just did not work.....its a partnership that has to gel......still hopefull though

got to be better that big coward playing...or Gabriel the disaster waiting to happen

knowing Wenger wil all go tits up

Liked how he played against Hull. Between he and Granit they look a pair with good vision and passing range.

The Captain, what captain? We have not had a captain for god knows how long...

Wonder what goes through his mind when he appoints a captain? What qualiteeeeese does he look for?
Does he look for inner strength? Again what qualiteeeeese does he look for?

The armband is a standing joke, it's called "Pass the Armband"....

I still don't know why Wenger took the armband off Theo. He did ok last season when he was captain for one game :D :D

thinks he's done fine for himself since he came into the team. we'll see how he does against costa on saturday.

Looking very good so far and the makings of a very solid partnership with Kos who in turn must be delighted in not having to keep covering for others mistakes.

The handling of Costa a very encouraging test which he passed esp the last time he came to the bowl with Mertersacker defending deep as usual and getting caught out and sent off.

I don't like seeing any player out long term injury wise but without PM being injured I highly,highly doubt Mustafi would be here!
