Unilever manufacture Lynx Deodorants.

Brings a new meaning to the "Lynx effect".

if you voted LEAVE then you voted for yourself to be worse off.

it must be the first case of a country self harming itself.
everything "project fear" said, is and will become reality.

If you mean 'worse off' in purely financial terms then you may or not be right (in the short term probably right!). However, it's not all about money.
Prior to the Scottish referendum a poll asked Scots if they would vote for independence even if it led to a small fall in living standards, and the majority of 'out' voters said yes.

More democracy, a repatriation of powers that, imo, should never have been ceded to the EU, control of borders etc are important factors for many people, but it's difficult to put a monetary value on them.

Firstly and the biggest factor IMO the uncontrolled flow of unskilled migrant workers which has forced wages down for the lower paid people especially young people in Britain, i recently have got involved in youth work and nearly all of the youth workers i know (a bigger bunch of left wing social worker types you wont ever meet) all voted out due to the problems the young people they work with face days after day. Now some of my friends say thing like 'well my son left school started an apprenticeship earns £200 and never had a problem' etc etc etc but there mare many young people that don't have the guidance or intelligence that my friends kids have had and many of these types of people struggle and voted out. This IMO is NOT racism
I didn't say there was a "big" racist element, mate (or even a "medium" sized one!).

The vote was tight - 52% to 48% - if I remember correctly? The people you mention above would be the type of people I listed in the first group, the ones with "genuine" concerns about the economy and uncontrolled immigration. And no I do not consider someone with concerns about uncontrolled immigration a racist.

But I don't think anyone can deny that a certain "unknown" percentage of those that voted for Brexit did so with a xenophobic or racist agenda. Christ, I think SlyNews found and interviewed most of them the next day!! I think that unknown percentage might have carried the day for Brexit. But that doesn't mean it was the only factor obviously. It might have just been enough to get the result. Maybe.

My point was that not all Brexitters were of that ilk...
Totally agree, but there is no doubt that the referendum has brought a lot of people that may have kept their extreme views to themselves in the past, out of the woodwork. Who knows how many truly are racist out of the 52% but for me even 0.5% is too much.

Putting this into perspective, an MP and a Polish immigrant have been killed largely due you could say to the whole debate. That's two people too many in my book.

That and the lack of any sort of a plan to lead Britain out of the EU is the most disappointing part of this year for me. It is scary that bungling Boris, Gove and Farage set their stall out with no clear path if they actually won. Farage is now revelling in the glory and Bungling Boris is trying his best to start a war with Russia. How long before teacher May slaps him down again. :D :D :D

Then you have the Economic side of things. Something that in my opinion was poorly presented to the country by Osborne and Cameron, but how do you present something negative like that without coming across as scaremongering.

I am going out to stockpile on lynx and marmite today, might make a few quid if the price rises kick in!!

The ridiculous hong kong style property boom has meant that the very rich have got richer and made slaves of the rest of us. when i bought my first house in 1984 i was 26 and its price was twice my salary . the young guys in my office that i train are the same age live in rented accomadation which they share with 3 or 4 others and dont have a hope in hell of getting a house or flat as it would be 20 times their salary. they pay 50 pct of their salary for this privelege. thats fucked up but thens so is this country. staying in europe will only dragged is further into the quagmire.
Any nation or remoaner that throws good money after bad needs their head examined as in the Greek Tragedy, come on, it's economics innit peeps!..
What has the Greeks got to do with us? Their economy is totally different, they paid their public servants ridiculous pensions from the age of 50. Are you or anyone else surprised the pack of cards came down.....

But yet again another irrelevant part of Britain being in the EU. There is no comparison, we didn't even bail them out.
I was beginning to think you knew what you were talking about, but along with your Euro Sir John Falstaffs in a rendition of Henry IV your buffoonish behaviours in the Greek bail out was crazy to say the least.
The argument is would you throw good money away after bad?....

looks like it will be HARD Brexit or NO Brexit.

no chance that the EU will allow a soft brexit, and increasingly the public will turn against hard brexit as price increases start to bite.

NO Brexit it is then :D

Doubt that very much. No business, not even Unilever can sustain a 20% drop in revenue. We are in for a major bout of inflation.
