As they are owned by Abramovich it matters only to him that have scored a big deal but its hardly likely to bother him , another few dollars increase in the price of Oil and he's laughing all the way to the bank !

Great to see that the club marketing & sponsorship department are more than willing to accept mediocrity in the same way as the manager & many of the playing squad, medical support & club hierarchy from Kroenke downwards.
After all why should they all have to work so hard for their lucrative contracts whilst the fans pay the highest ticket prices in world football t make up the shortfall in cash! .
