As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Maybe he'll accept 200k.
And rumour has it that the portugese ladyboy is about to sign a 5yr contract worth over £200m with them - I think that the moral of the story is that madrid are loaded and will always have the funds to spend big cos they are serial winners, plus it shouldn't be forgotten that they are under a transfer embargo now too
That is partly balls, old chap. Let's not forget that Real Madrid have been illegally bank rolled by the government, local councils and banks in Spain for decades. I would say they are serial winners ONLY because they are (illegally) loaded, not the other way round.
I hate the world-wide love and respect for Madrid and the Barcawhores. They are crooks. Always have been. They are like supersized versions of the chav$ when it comes to being dirty pimped bastards.
Given current form , I imagine Walcott will work want the same as Sanchez and Ozil.
Ozil's hattrick was pure class, as good as DB10s vs Leicester in 1997. The take for his first goal from a 30 yard ball was as good as it gets in football.
Bellerin, Sanchez and Ozil - all three need to be tied up.
Losing one but keeping two is not good enough.
Deloitte released an scientific study last week that showed the Emirates the most profitable stadium in the world (why not - the cub charges the highest ticket prices). So the cub has no right to turn around and not offer the money needed to keep these players.

You should exercise your right as an EU citizen to write to them to formally apply for a trial as a centre forward.
If they write back to say you aren't Basque then you can take them to court for a breach of freedom of movement principle and EU discrimination law.
What do you mean you're not vindictive enough to spend years of your life and hundreds of thousands of pounds of legal fees doing that???
You really don't know me at all.
Ya that'll be the reason... you're not basque, couldn't be anything else, middle aged, slow, a sprint away from a heart attack?, no its because You're not basque.....the bastards
The pair of them have won games for us on their own
Although, as I said in the TOF thread:
Sean wrote: Of course we need Sanchez and Ozil's contracts sorted out, but I can't see TOF allowing them to be paid more than the £160K a week he currently thieves from the club, unless he gets another undeserved pay-rise in another new undeserved contract. Even if TOF goes up to £10M per year, that's still £58K a week less than the £250K salary that Sanchez and Ozil want.
I'll be surprised if the club give them those wages, let alone TOF sanctioning that. Unless there's some satanic deal made where we keep them, but TOF stays forever on a parity clause (£250K p/w = £13M p/a) and we have to watch the old bastard thieve even more wages out of the club as the gormless arse does fuck-all to prevent our regular season collapses and flaps his arms
Just go to 10 minutes 44 Seconds of this and the camera zooms in (Slo Mo) on Ozils first and second touches for THAT goal - It truly is a thing of Majestic Beauty.
Anyone still believe that bellerin is worth the mega wages that some were mooting on here over the last few weeks ? After yesterdays performance I certainly don't, and it was clear that the scum had identified our right side as the vunerable point in our team

It's funny how 2 people can watch the same match and come out with a completely different viewpoint on things, that's the beauty of the game I suppose.
I actually thought our biggest weakness yesterday was down the Monreal/Iwobi channel and that the spuds were targeting us on that side most of the game. Monreal, who has been a solid 8 out of 10 with a good two years now has seen his form drop off alarmingly this season, coincidentally when Iwobi has become a regular starter in front of him.

I like the guy, generally I think he's been good for us. But there's no way in hell he should be getting £100k a week, not yet anyway. Get ready to see your ST price go up next season to cover these new deals!
If we dont pay Bellerin 100k a week, nor Ozil and Sanchez 200-250k a week, others clubs will.
This is one of the great mysteries - why some fans are so reluctant to see our better players pen big deals, yet at the same time criticize the club for a lack of ambition. The reason Bellerin was tied up to a 6 year deal on 100k a week, is because the interest from Barcelona and Man City was genuine.
About time the club started to take a proactive approach to keep our better players, whilst also paying wages that are competitive relative to clubs like Barcelona and Man City.
