3 points is 3 fucking points!

Re: Swansea City (H) | PL | Sat 15 Oct 15:00
Another win!
Standard start from us; lucky not to concede in the first minute, then a bit end to end with our typical sideways 'No, after you' style of blunt attacking, with Swansea making more of their opportunities. One chance fell to two players in their box who couldn't decide between them which of them was to pass it rather than test their keeper. Thank fuck Walcott scored to break the tedium.
Glad we got the second goal soon after. Walcott is in a good scoring run now. Wonderful composure to take that chance, even if the Swansea defence was in disarray, allowing him the time to put it away. I must say, I am glad we are getting games won in the first half. Our bogey side is in trouble.
It was almost reassuring to see us make our trademark defensive lapse, gifting a goal to Swansea. We were mugged off and Xhaka has already had any defensive nous he had coached out of him. Standard to see our CBs exposed yet again. We were shaky after that. Not nice to see that Swansea bastard get away with poking Walcott in the eye either.
The third goal was orgasmic. Wonderful to see direct play for a change. Great ball by Sanchez for a fantastic finish from Ozil. Happy birthday to him
If those two are not worth the wage-rise then close the fucking doors and turn off the lights. It's nice to see Ozil finally easing his fear of shooting. If he knows that no-one else in the side has the bottle to shoot, then he should take that responsibility. He needs more goals in his game to be considered a Bergkamp.
Trust our defence to make a cúnt of it again. Another goal for Swansea thanks to scandalous defending. Standard defensive sub from TOF, bringing off Iwobi - who had a good game and made a wonderful dribbling move, for Coquelin. Shame we couldn't see Elneny instead. Harsh red card for Xhaka. He was late in the tackle, but there didn't seem to be much contact. That guaranteed that we didn't see Perez yet again. Then more subs-by-numbers from TOF.
We don't do defensive coaching or attacking coaching. Bould isn't allowed to do anything. We never learn.
So yet another arsehole-tensing end to a game. Fucking hell. A supposedly easy win is made much harder than it needed to be, taking most of the enjoyment from getting the three points in the first place. We should be used to it after nine seasons of this agonizing play.

3 points. Another weak performance but that's now six points in two games when playing poorly.

I know mate - and you're right(ish) But he missed 3 Sitters so rather than you and I have palpitations - we could have sat back and enjoyed the last 30 minutes with a cold one.Gunner Rob wrote:He did win us the match to be fairOneBardGooner wrote:Just F U C K O F F Walcott u utter preck.![]()

anyway, we've papered the cracks again. i suppose we have to be happy but ultimately there is no indication we've made any progress in the last five or so years. very worrying
