Happy 50th Mr Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

In an era where proper captains were ten a penny, TA6 stood out miles ahead of everyone else in pure leadership qualities - it was nothing short of a disgrace that he only captained his country 15 times (if my research is correct), and the way the captaincy was taken off him (and given to the Geordie c.unt) by Glenda born again Christian c.unt hoddle, went far beyond unacceptable   :censored: :censored:

TA6 was my first real Arsenal hero - I liked a load of players before him of course, but none stood tall and represented what I wanted from an Arsenal player, more than TA6. Obviously no AFC moment will ever surpass anfield '89, but the picture of TA6 after scoring that goal against everton, will be THE iconic image that will live with me forever 8)

Belated birthday wishes Tone :barscarf:

Very moving; especially when he talks about his mother. She had the same name as mine too

Not really the image cos sky have ruined that but just the sheer "fucking hell" bouldy to Tony and left foot half volley amazement in the stand. :barscarf:
