other than that, boro at home usually means 3 points, and some decent goals. memories of rocastle's dribble in '88, bergkamp's chip in the nineties, a superb pires volley in 2001-02 as well :barscarf:
Sadly I was at the 1-1, dire match, I think Anelka scored late on to earn the draw, I think this was the worst Arsenal match I've ever been at
Was at that game too - It was toure I believe who scored our equaliser.

Loved our 5-3 match agaisnt them at Highbury
Loved that 5-3 after being 3- 1 down. I remember Bobby was untouchable that day.
We broke the record as well that day for most unbeaten?
Great memories :barscarf:
I hate games like the 5-3 one....... These sort of games could go any way just as newcastle 4-4 did and many other examples. Irs like Sunday league football. Give me a George Graham 1-0 with the oppo getting virtually no chances any day over Sunday league shite

I was at that game with my Big Bro - what a day that was - the weather was perfect the sun was shining, TH14 lobbed the goalie and everything looked good, we were slaughtering them...with their goalie having a blinder - then suddenly we were 1 - 3 down - the sun was shining I was suicidal...then Booyakaashaaa God (Bergkamp) Captain on the day took the game by its balls and the rest as they say is History....

Anyone have an idea if Chambers will play in this game?

6 pts is a must from this game and Sunderland.

As far as I know he can't play against his parent club

Hopefully it shall be a walk in the park, of course that's never a garuntee with The Arsenal.
Regardless, 3 points is a must!

Oh and hopefully I'll be at the game longer than 10 minutes this week  :barscarf:

Let the bullying continue.....from Ludogorets to Boro.

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

We all know our seasons go one of two ways - the flat track bullying start when TO1AW gets blasted out loud and proud before the last 16 exit in the Be All and End All sees us go from title favourites to the race for fourth in the space of six weeks.......or the 5 defeats before Christmas followed by the January panic buy and the stampede to scramble above West Ham / Southampton / Scum / Everton to reach the Be All and End All for the wankathon in mid-May

Seems like this year, like last, is going to be more a case of the former. TO1AW to sign the contract extension a couple of weeks before the February / March collapse

Oh....this game. A nice 4-1 Graeme Hick style bullying of Bangladesh on a mid-July featherbed

Had to look it up on google because I was sure I was right about Anelka, I was right but it turns out I was light years out on the year, it was 1998, still it was an awful match

Chittagong-Middlesborough. Not much difference.

Although if we're using Bangladesh as a metaphor currently, it could be one of those last minute get out jail "mental strength" channeling ***** fests. 2-1.
