The KLEENEX "I'm Not Watching!" Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Unfortunately I had a roast chicken with stuffing to cook and eat :)

sounds like I had the better end of the deal - did briefly try a stream, but it was stuck for ages but it sounds like that might have been one of the highlights from the match ?

Not sure, man. Am on a Wenger-out boycott and had planned not going again until he was gone but my 11 year old son is desperate to get to a couple games this season so I'll probably give in and bring him. Not sure when though... :|

The Ska disco sounds like brilliant fucking fun! :barscarf: 8) 8)

Are you sure it's not the thought of a jaunt out to Epping Forest that you are looking forward to ?
Never to be forgotten, according to Herd...

Spent the day trying to get a phone unlocked (unsuccessfully) before catching the last 5 mins of radio commentary. We've been riding our luck with weeks now - Southampton, Burnley, Swansea so it's no massive shock it finally ran out today. Falling victim to playing the same guys game after game after game I reckon.

Anyway the main thing I came away with from my failed phone unlocking exploits today was my immense gratitude to the guy (and it HAD to be a guy) who launched the fashion trend of women wearing those tight lycra pants on the high street rather than just in the gym.

The amount of perfect arse cheeks and bulging beavers I lay witness to today was a blessing from God himself. You can almost tell what they've had for dinner in those things. Beautiful.

Though I don't currently have a need for any mobile phone unlocking services, that's not to say at some point in the future the situation will not change.

I am also confident that the technicians you visited may potentially have mastered the process by then, so therefore it would be very helpful if you could share, (with those of us who already own a mobile phone, or who are planning to purchase one), the precise location of the establishment you use, and also the names of any nearby streets you might recommend traversing, in order that we might follow in your precise footsteps?

Finally, is there a particular time of day when you feel it is best to get one's mobile phone unlocked?

Agreed. Zen and the art of phone unblocking probably deserves a thread of all its own but owing to my current inebriated state that certainly won't be happening this evening.

Actually tried again earlier today (also no success) and to make matters worse there was zero fanny about.

Will endeavour to keep you all posted on the never ending saga re the phone. It's a real fucking page turner of a tale 8)

Quite simply the most beautiful and poetic line of verse I have ever read. :bowing21:  :the_doris_2:

You sir could rest your balls upon Shakespeare's forehead and he would be proud to have them there. 8)

Although I must confess that if given the opportunity to tea bag the Bard (Shakespeare that is, not the sex crazed geezer off here  ) then the honour and privilege would be all mine. 8)

I missed the Manure game as I had the opportunity to go out for the day with an elderly family friend. Given how I expected an inevitable defeat by Manure/Mourinho based on our post-Invincibles history, I figured there was absolutely nothing to lose. We went to an auction viewing, then went to the cafe for lunch and a chat. He's had medical issues lately, so I hadn't seen him for a little while. I was worried about him, but he's recovering well. He's a casual Arsenal fan, so I often vent about my frustrations about the club/TOF and the frustrations of those on this forum.

I was able to find out the FT score before I got home and I was very surprised we rescued a point :barscarf:
