As usual you only get half the story. If you read back through this thread, I pointed out that TM has given Nissan assurances that they would be no worse off financially when article 50 is enacted.

So what she is saying is your taxes are going towards paying a Japanese company's shortfall in profits as a result of Brexit, as opposed to the NHS, Education or local services.

Once again you have fallen for Brexit spin at its greatest. Quite ironic given TM's comments before the referendum. Not that she kept quiet because she had an eye on the PM's job ehhh.

What an amazing play on words, are you sure you where an accountant? I don't think you where based on some of the rubbish you spout on here.

So to carry on the debate, why are you celebrating one quarter of growth at .5%. Do you understand what that means? When the effects of the lower exchange rate feed into the economy with higher prices and a lower standard of living that's when you look at GDP to see the true Brexit effect. It takes 2 negative quarters for a recession to happen, hell do you even know what GDP is, you didn't have a clue about Enron .



Do you understand that both China and India grow more than three times faster than we do (6% plus p.a. last time I looked) ?

So many questions but never a cohesive, constructive or accurate reply.

In relation to the other comments, when an Accountant (alleged) cannot explain correctly exactly what happened with the Enron scandal and tries to link it with the Financial crisis then my comments are warranted tbh.

All we hear today is the Nissan deal and the thousands of jobs saved, not the sweetners the Government have assured to Nissan that ultimately will cost taxpayers money.

With regards to "how to win friends and influence people", is that the most cliche'd book ever written. The reason I have been so vociferous on this thread is because the brexiteers have just buried their heads in the sand. Every debate has half a story from you lot, as has been proven with both Nissan and GDP figures issued today.

Anyway I am off to the US for a couple of weeks to witness the arrival of President Trump.

Thanks to the fact I have worked in the Netherlands and France (god bless the single market) I have pensions in Euros so won't be in the dire straits that being a one country Brit would bring. Might add some insights in the Trump thread while I am there.
