ozil,wow!!could watch that goal all day long,he is fast becoming our new Bergkamp

First thing I thought was "that was like something Bergkamp would have done".

Fantastic goal to light up a shit match and a great goal to win with. Superb technique and ice cold nerves in front of goal. He put the keeper and both defenders on their arses. And that chip up over the keeper was brilliant.

If he does that against the scum on Sunday I'm getting the missus pregnant so I can call the baby "Mesut".

Didn't see the 2nd half - mates been texting me all day about the Ozil goal...and have to agree it was Bergkampesque...he was calm, and made their defence look like mugs... I hope he can do that kind of thing against the flith on sunday

Unfortunately, the quality of Ozil's goal has garnered all the headlines, so what was a pretty poor overall performance has been ignored by most of the media. Another free pass for AW.

Hopefully though, Ramsey's shitness was obvious to everybody watching.

except Chris Coleman it appears, who apparently said "he looked good" during that performance and has put him straight back in to the Welsh squad

Was actually forced in to watching this one by my son.....after 15 minutes I wondered why I bothered.

Ramsey Yeah yeah, back from injury etc. So fucking what - he plays like that when he's been in the side for 20 games in a row anyway. Every threatening attack breaks down when he gets the ball. He slows everything to a snail's pace. His passing is fucking shit. Every shot he takes hits the first man. He is absolutely fucking shite.....and I only wish I'd watched more games now when he isn't playing. I'm afraid that Wenger's lovechild will now be firmly back in the fold and will play in that role for all the vital games vs the Scum, Manure and PSG.....and after all 3 of those games I bet we're on here berating the same shitty performances every time. People criticise Wilshere - fuck me I would take him over 10 Ramseys. The bloke most be the most overrated player to wear the shirt in decades......and as for the gay haircut, don't even start me off!

Can we get Abou back instead please?

100% agreed. Ramsey kills the pace and natural attack of our game. Kills it dead. Always wants 4 and 5 touch's, a couple of dragbacks, a step over, a twirl, and then a flick into the general area he hopes a team mate might be near, before demanding the ball back from said team mate immediately, and then backheeling it straight to the oppo.

He had his one (well two thirds) brilliant season back in 2014 and he's lived off it since. The fact Wenger still sees him as first name on the sheet is up there with Wenger's deluded persistence with shit like Alex Mong and LegoHead Denilson.

On Sunday we simply cannot afford to have Ramsey start. We need to hit the vermin hard and fast at pace early on, get 2 or 3 up by half time and knock the stuffing out of them. If Ramsey starts we will revert to tippy tappy within 15 minutes and then it's gonna be a nervy game where anything could happen which is what the scum will want.

As much as I (rightly) criticise Wilshere for his failings, I too would have him starting over Ramsey every single time. At least Wilshere is aggressive in attack and will try and get about the oppo, try and push at them. Fucking Ramsey is too busy showboating in the middle and losing possession to drive at them.

It's vital Ramsey doesn't start on Sunday. But we all know he probably will...
