Re: Song for Hector
I've heard this at most aways but mainly in the pub beforehand and not at the groundZiegler1988 wrote:I wanna tell you, I might as well do, about the boy who can do anythingRobin_L wrote:the song we have for Bellerin is good enough surely. It's our best song in my book. Tie with Koscielny.
He comes from Barca, his name is Hector, Bellerin Bellerin Bellerin
Does it get sung regularly at away matches?

Finally Some Good News:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38054145
Spain defender Hector Bellerin has signed a new long-term deal at Arsenal.
The 21-year-old right-back joined the club in 2011 and is established in the starting line-up.
He signed a long-term deal in July 2015 but had been linked with a move away, with his former club Barcelona - where he played in the youth teams - and Manchester City reportedly interested.
"I have been here a long time, I feel like this is my home and this is the right thing to do," Bellerin said.
"I am very happy to still be a Gunner for many more years."
Bellerin has made 67 top-flight appearances, including 11 this season before he was ruled out for four weeks with injury.

Given his rapid rise to the top, it is only natural that other clubs would cast covetous glances in his direction - but Hector Bellerin insists it has never crossed his mind to leave.
The Spain international signed a new contract with us on Monday and is determined to continue his development here after joining in 2011.
Find out more about Bellerin's contract
'How Hector has evolved at Arsenal'
“I’m really, really happy and this club is my home right now,” Bellerin told Arsenal Player. “I’ve been here for more than five years now so I was really, really excited when the club told me that they wanted to extend my contract.

“I wasn’t thinking about anything else other than staying here and continuing my development here. This is where I’m happy. I’m just very grateful and pleased to have signed.
“Arsenal is not only about being a footballer, you have to be a good person to play here. That’s what everyone transmits inside the club. You represent more than just a football club.
"I’m a player who tries to be an example for everyone, not just on the pitch but off it as well.
“Now I’ve just got to keep on progressing, keep working hard to be the best player I can be, and hopefully help the team to be where its got to be, to win some silverware. That’s what everyone wants and that’s what I’m working towards.”
I Just hope wenger fuck.s of before he fuck.s him up as a player.

I'm happy he resigned. And he has passion for the badge which is always a bonus.

Re: Song for Hector
It's very good business. He is not world class but he is very good and has the potential to become world class - and is light years ahead of the other RB options at the club.

And he is probably light years ahead of almost all the other full backs in the league, even though he def needs to work on his defending. Zabaleta of 2 or 3 years ago would probably been the only right full in recent years in his class, and walker and clyne aint fit to be on the same pitch as him

Song for Hector?
''Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you''
Just getting this one in before Wilson
On a different note, I know the game has changed with the amount of foreigners coming in and therefore the names shouted out will be different ... but I could still never have imagined I would ever hear someone at a football match shouting out: ''GET IN THERE HECTOR!''

Has this last 10 years taught you nothing?

Re: Song for Hector
After hearing him in interview the other day anyone else surprised about how "un-spanish" Hector acutally sounds
