PSG (H)- C Lge - Weds 23rd Nov 745pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How do you think Sanchez feels about being in the same starting XI as Jenkinson? :coffeespit:

He has no place in this Arsenal team. I don't care how good he was for 5 months in 2013 and I don't care how welL he played for Wales in the Euros. He just hasn't been any good for us for a long time.

This is turgid rubbish, we are not a bad side but are so lacking in balance and tactical nous. Every opposing team must just know exactly how we are going to play when they come here. We would never have a chance of springing a shock and winning this competition because tactically we are light years behind any serious contenders in this competition.

Commentator...."Well this is just too easy now. Arsene Wenger may well change this in the 2nd half". Correct, but not before the 69th minute, irrespective of what is happening. After all these years these commentators still don't know the man. Maybe Wenger picks them???

On this display it is irrelevant whether we finish first or second.

We WILL lose in the last 16

We're playing too deep, need to push defence up about 10 yards. What's the point if playing Giroud if we're not going to cross the ball, or utilise his aerial strength?
Iwobi having a dubious game.

I don't care if he is a Gooner or Herbert Chapman's great-grandchild or whatever. Jenkinson has never ever been nearly good enough to play at this level (even as a squad player). Yet in true Wenger style he is in his sixth season with us despite at no point threatening to be anywhere near good enough.

Looks more like he's been playing with a broken ankle.
