Happy invincibles day

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't normally celebrate this but I'll never pass up an opportunity to raise a glass to Spurs losing.

To each and every one of us :barscarf: :barscarf:

What we did really was a once in a lifetime achievement that is nearly impossible to do. Of all the great teams down through the years in the modern era - we did it and I'll go as far as saying it won't be repeated FACT

For anyone to think that that joke of a club - the perennial bottlers, the Middlesex swamp dwelling vermin might actually do something that no other club could do(apart from us) is laughable. FOYS :barscarf: :barscarf:

People may feel we dwell in the past by referring to our Invincible Season.. I wouldn't agree with that. We are a club steeped in history so why shouldn't we celebrate it..
Maybe it is a reflection on how poor modern Arsenal have become in the last twelve years but every season when the last unbeaten run goes I am delighted and relieved that no one is going to match our achievement for at least another season..

It was a great achievement most likely never to be repeated 8) I look back on 03-04 as a missed opportunity aswell though :( we should've won the treble that season. An inferior manure team did it in 99 :( I think this was also the season that makes le bumhole think he is untouchable  don't get me wrong im glad that lot fucked it yesterday 8) but I think I'm with a lot of gooners who think it's a reminder of how far we've fallen under le bumhole.

Yes agree 100%.. I have always said we should have won the Champions League in 04 and in my view (however contradictory it sounds) we had a better chance in 04 than in 06 when we reached the final..Also the FA Cup semi was a real chance lost..

It was an absolutely incredible achievement and we shouldn't be ashamed about celebrating it.

But for me singing 49 undefeated at every single game is living in the past.

For me Jens Lehmann will always be a cúnt because he fucked up the two best opportunities we had to finally win the CL/European Cup in 04 and 06. :x :censored:

Anyway, we all knew the scum would fuck it up so belated Happy Invincible's Day to one and all! :barscarf: 8)
