Hmmmm difficult one... seeing as we are one of the favourites in both competitions. I will leave those kind of tough decisions to our manager, that's what he gets paid 9 million for.

Actually that isn't quite accurate mate.

He gets £300k for managing the team and £9 million for saving the club £12 million a year in extra payments for players not coming on till after 70 minutes and Saves wiggycunt another £27million by putting the finances of the club before fans and trophies....

And let's not forget every time we get past the CL qualifiers - Wenger the Inept get's another £3.7 million...

A meaningless game to clog up the calendar until the FA Cup starts (unless you were born after 1996 of course in which case knock yourself bandy)

Couldn't give a flying fuck. Is Andy Carroll fit to knock the little rag dollies around one more time? If he was in a wheelchair and I was Slaven Bilic I'd still be tempted to wheel him out there. As for Payet.....I'd shoot from distance every time with old Planky between the sticks.

An embarrassing limpdicked 2-1 defeat which will shine the spotlight on old wise one even further given his shameful sacrificing of a trophy the other night. Get the banners out and give the old wanker an absolute rinsing. I'd normally be more respectful but he showed a total lack of respect to everyone who showed up the other night so fuck him. Leave the fucking club and take all your modern day luvvie football snobs with you, you senile old prick

Not confident of our spineless team led by an idiot of getting anything today, except a good beasting by Andy Carroll

Remarkably after everything, as can understand a lot have given up.....still hoping we can beat this scum....and will be sick when we loose

With the supposed lack of stewarding / policing at their wanky new ground it would seem like a perfect opportunity to get the banners out, and on Saturday evening TV let the old wind bag have it with both barrels

Of course, I don't really expect that today because even when the Scum roll off pathetic Swansea we will still be safely where we belong, lodged in 4th, dreaming of that night in Udine and how we can write the next chapter of this glorious episode in our history.

Sadly with 3 gimme home bankers against Stoke, West Brom and Palace to come between now and the turn of the year, there will be little hope that fart face will be signing the top striker we need during the window as we'll be firmly in the 4th place play off spot. All of the January fixtures are gimmes too against the likes of Bournemouth, Swansea, Burnley and Watford....so the window close and another opportunity to be ambitious will have passed.

We all know what immediate follows of course - the customary 0-2 rollover at the Bridge at the start of Feb, a CL dicking in the first leg, the now compulsory away defeat at Southampton followed by more tip tap shite at Liverpool, and the beginning of a spectacular collapse and run of injuries. Oh, throw in the surrender of the FA Cup too as we prepare ourselves to overturn the first leg 3-1 home defeat to Barcelona

As ever though, hope springs eternal because just as Man City have whacked the final nail in the 'title coffin' at Easter along come West Ham, Palace, Middlesbrough, Sunderland in quick succession just as the Scum have their traditional April collapse at the same time. As we scrape a point at their gaff at the end of April, to celebrate another glorious VT finish the cries of There's Only One AW will come just in time to ensure John Cross and pals get on the bandwagon to ensure he signs another contract extension

Going over there today. Does anyone have any experience going to this stadium? Is there anywhere around the place to have a safe drink? Or is it a case of get in/get out and get away?

There's a very strong rumour that Alexis & Ozil tied him up and threw him in the back of a lorry headed for the North Pole.
