Yes, he's made the wrong decisions at times but, credit where it's due, him and Sanchez are ripping West Ham apart. At least Ox is getting involved and making things happen... Theo on the other hand is invisible

Really should be more than 1-0 up though. Should be out of sight :o
Delighted with that win and performance.

Sanchez was sublime but the Ox played the best I've seen him in ages and Coquelin had a stormer! 8)

For me Shearer's a bigger crunt than jug ears, i'd love to know exactly why Sanchez has to win the league with Arsenal to be considered world class :?

As far as we're concerned Sanchez IS world class and that's all that matters.

If Sanchez played for Spuds or Victims he would be world class for Shearer...Stevie Me didn't win a title but the media have collective trouser area stiffness at the mention of his name..

Is there a more jumped-up club in world football than West Ham? Honestly. Never won a top flight league title and their biggest claims to fame are a decent academy (the products of which all won things elsewhere lol) and something that happened 50 years ago. Strutting around like they're the pride of "true London" and getting ideas above their station with the Olympic stadium. The whole "too good to go down" thing was hilarious the first time and likely to be equally funny when they go down this season as well.

We make fun of the Scum all the time and rightly so, but at least they've won a few things in their time.

On Ox, I thought his end product in the first 20ish minutes was fairly poor. The overall performance was very good and I loved his goal. I am almost always that c*nt in the pub/stands who screams "hit it!" whenever a play has the ball at the top of the box in any semblance of space. Did so again today and it happened!. Fantastic finish.

I really don't think it's Bilic. It's the players. Bar Payet, the squad is full of nearly men and has-beens. The stadium change hasn't helped but I don't see where the goals, leadership or defensive solidarity would come from.

I did enjoy Arbeloa and Fernandes' utterly vacant defending in the first half. It made Monreal look like peak Lizarazu.

To be fair to Shearer, take away the label "world class" from the discussion and I think what Shearer was trying to say (but didn't) is that Sanchez isn't at the same level as Bale, Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, etc. because he's not been consistent enough in the big games. It's great that he ripped West Ham apart but world class players make the difference in the big games and I'm not sure Sanchez or Ozil have done that consistently enough for us when it really matters so far in their Arsenal careers.

Hopefully this season Sanchez will fire the 25-30 goals we need from a striker. God knows why Wenger didn't play him there for 2 years; instead prefering Giroud, Welbeck and even Sanogo.... hell, he even gave Theo every opportunity last season to play striker instead of Sanchez! ..... still, better late than never!

Sanchez is the best player in the league at the moment. Its becoming apparent he is a better footballer than Aguero. Both are lethal in the box, but Sanchez game of robbing defenders, and dribbling past players is making him very Suarez like. Aguero is too static when not in possession, whilst Sanchez is a hustler, as well as brilliant football with ball at feet.

Xhaka next to Couqelin is a good partnership. Wenger needs to realise, a tackle in midfield can lead to a goal, just as much as a great pass. Coquelin's tackle led to the opening goal. You step out and win the ball in midfield, and feed it to Ozil or Sanchez, and stuff will happen. The whole point of a deep lying play maker it to bypass the midfield and get the attackers goal side of their opposite midfielder and running at the defenders. Same thing happens with Coquelin or Xhaka disposes their opposite number - they just tap it forward and Ozil and Sanchez are running at the opposition defence. Plus you get the added benefits of defensive stability.

Cazorla's injury is a blow, but he Xhaka-Coquelin partnership can be very productive.

The risk is however, that Wenger might play Ramsey, who has no defensive ability, nor Cazorla's passing range, thus his role in midfield is anyone guess.

Wenger seems to have avoided rushing Giroud back into the team and shifting Sanchez outwide. Is he learning?? Now all he needs to do is stop playing Ramsey outwide or in midfield and results like this can be more common. As for Ramsey's role in the team, I honestly think he doesn't have one. I would use him as a second striker, but when chasing a game, or looking to add variety, Its Giroud who comes on. I just dont see Ramsey as anything other than an sqaud player.

Id bring Wilshere back from loan, and sell Ramsey. See if City will offer us 40m for him.

Sorry, what? I'm a big critic of Ramsey but he was substituted on in the 66th minute when the game was still 0-1.
