Spent all last week hoping he'd pick the strongest side possible against Southampton and he played the stiffs. Now praying he'll play the stiffs tonight when you just know he's going to pick his strongest side.

It's the Wenger paradox.

Can't see PSG tripping up at home to ludogerets, even if we was to finish top we would still probably get runners up in Real madrids group or runners up in Bayerns group!

Yeah! he's already hinted as much - Sanchez has a hamstring problem, but you can rest assured he'll play him - WENGER YOU DULLARD CEUNNT. :banghead: :banghead: :cussing:

if Sanchez gets injured tonight or on Saturday then Wenger SHOULD get sacked on the spot.
meanwhile back to the real world...

Depressed, just been called and its gone right off out there all without me !
The Off was a 3 country Pub Crawl which was completed in just under two hours starting in Basel followed by a quick few in Germany before ending up for a couple in St Louis ! Disgraceful behaviour ,over 40 drunks involved and there now larging it back in Basel !
So much for a non event tie eh ?

Two ways to look at it. My way would be to play a weakened side (which should still be good enough to beat basel) and save sanchez and Co for Stoke. But wengers way will probably play full strength pick up a load of knocks and still finish second as ludo are the worst team in cl history and have no chance at PSG. :banghead: :banghead:

there really should not be a discussion on this.

we play 3 PL games in a week from Saturday (thats a more intense period than over Christmas)
Pep Guardiola will play all reserves this evening, why won't Wenger? And if he doesnt I bet the press still wont slaughter him for it

I agree that we should be resting players for this game as psg won't slip up, so should take the chance to rest a few players and give experience to others.

It's shit isn't it. Too many weak teams too many meaningless games..... give me the old knockout competition any day

Totally agree too many poor sides in the champions league that are championship standard, get back to the old knockout stages where there's just the top teams in it. But then again UEFA won't make half as much money

Any money if the c.unt gets asked about it later he'll give some smart arse answer like "you criticise me last week for resting players now you criticise me for not resting them" :banghead:
