we suck
"We suck" yet unless Liverpool win by 3+ goals tonight, we'll remain second in the table with the joint least losses in the league and a close second in most goals scored.

Don't be absurd.
They DID win by 3.

And it doesnt matter. We suck. We won't win anything. It's groundhog day. But if you want to believe otherwise, I envy your optimism. Plus, "joint least losses in the league and a close second in most goals scored" sounds a lot like a Wenger statement.

I don't understand how having joint fewest losses and second-most goals in a twenty-team league is sucking. That's illogical. I am no Wenger defender whatsoever but to be dissolving into histrionics over a narrow away defeat to a decent side is simply immature.

Thats Gundogan down well - out for several months.

We might see Delph in their fuking team.

No Aguero, no Kompany, no Fernandinho, no Gundogan.

Missing their lynchpin at the back, missing the main man at the front, and missing their first choice midfield duo.

A decent side?? They were close, before we came along, to being a team in crisis. In fact, despite their win they were still awful, we just somehow managed to be worse.

If you cannot see what is coming, if you still think we will even be challenging come February you are delusional.

If Chelsea start running away with it I expect Wenger to step forward and blame all the other teams for not doing their job by beating them like his side did.

Absolutely 100% with you xisstential. Everton were appalling. The commentators/pundits were getting hysterical about how bad Everton were and feared they were gonna get a good tonking from us. All the talk was of a team in serious crisis, a manager who might not see out the season.... Everton were pissing possession away to us for a laugh for the entire first half and a lot of the second, they were all over the place, not marking up, not winning balls back.... and yet, somehow we managed to let them win...

Actually, they did not win, we simply lost.

And why? Because we have no on-field leaders, we have no killer instinct, we rely on 2 players to create 90% of the good we do and if they have an off-game we are fucking dead in the water. Because our manager doesn't do tactics, or strategy, or man-management, or in-game management or fucking anything apart from sending out a team unprepared for what's in front of them and then sit there hugging himself like a teenage anorexic facing a fucking compulsory double cheeseburger and chips... :x

Groundhog Season. Again. And again. And again... etc etc blah blah fucking blah blah etc. :banghead: :x

They may not be a great side but will they have any players to match the NON quality of our 2 young wingers. No they have no one that bad. At least give Perez & Le Lampost a go & bring on the 'lads' if that don't work in the 70th min. I think we may lose this one as well. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Maybe you're right, as crap as Giroud is, at least he is a target and he can hold the ball up & knock it down. The problem we have is when teams get in our face and the service dries up from the midfield,Sanchez tends to drop deeper & deeper to fetch the ball and that leaves nobody up front. One of Giroud's biggest problems is that he is so slow, so don't try give him balls to run onto, don't make him come back to fetch the ball either, let Sanchez & Ozil supply him. He needs to be in the box when the ball goes down the flanks, Giroud and Sanchez are our only two attacking players who are alright in the air.

Of course Ramsey, our gifted midfield general might be back on Sunday to supply EVERYBODY.... including City.

I continue to question the long term plan of playing sanchez as the LONE striker, but in this game playing giroud would absolutely play into citeeh's hands - ottamendi is a physically strong centre back, and playing giroud would suit him to a tee. On the other hand, playing the faster more mobile sanchez, would have him shitting a brick everytime we attacked (and especially counter attacked)

Btw gp543. before last Tuesday night everton had one win in their previous 11 games - hardly the hallmark of a decent side

Massive game, got to get something. I am going for 2-2, my team - Cech,Bellerin,Monreal,Gabriel,Kos, Xhata,Coq,Iwobi,Ox, Ozil & Sanchez. Subs -Giroud to come on after 70 and score.

UP THE ARSENAL.
