More than 10 years into our Emirates existence and the great project is still no nearer to completion.
Just as our lack of CBs and CDMs over the past decade have cost us dearly, we move into an era where he pretends the Lamppost, Welwide and Wally will turn into the next Henry or Bergkamp, has a geriatric old fart in goal who can't save anything from outside the area, and still hasn't identified a leader of men that still shows itself up every time it gets a little bit tasty at the likes of Stoke, or earlier this week at Everton
He'll forever be that "one or two players" away from making a great team, and as happened with the 2008 team, and numerous individuals since then, the ones who have stood out will leave and create the next gap in the team.
The next ready made excuse of course comes in the form of the money on offer in China - the latest financial doping episode to leave him whining, moaning and moralising for years to come

I can't see TOF letting Sanchez and Ozil being paid £90K a week more than himself unless he gets yet another undeserved contract extension with a parity clause (Didn't Fergie have one in the end?). There's also the horrible rumour that the two will only stay if TOF does.
