Abso-fucking-lutely There will NEVER be a goal as good as DB10's goal against the geordies - it really, really maddens me that Bergkamp's goal has never received the acclaim that it deserved

In all seriousness I think it was a brilliant piece of improvisation from Giroud. He should be praised and it should be enjoyed ... but lets leave it at that and not go overboard about it.

Giroud admitted there was "maximum luck" but any goal like that will require luck ! The fact he had the presence of mind to react so quickly is what makes it a truly great goal!
It doesn't come near bergkamps goal or at least half a dozen scored by both db and th ! But still a great goal borne out of determination that unfortunately the same player too often doesn't show!
Goal of the season?? I hope so!
