I truly despise the man and want him gone more than anything else on this earth (even more than a rim job off our Nat) but there's something about him moving that elastic band from finger to finger that upsets me.
Like when you're out and about and you see an old person sitting alone at a table looking sad having something to eat. That sort of shit upsets me.

The elastic band thing is creepy tbh.rodders999 wrote:I truly despise the man and want him gone more than anything else on this earth (even more than a rim job off our Nat) but there's something about him moving that elastic band from finger to finger that upsets me.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
More half glass empty coverage in the press. John Cross and the like are portraying the 3-3 result as a brilliant comeback and indicative of Arsenal's 'mental strengh'. John Cross wrote this has 'saved Arsenals season'. Which is strange, because we are now at the point where, being in the top 4 is out of our hands.
I really hope we dont finish in the top 4 this year. Im convinced Sanchez and Ozil are out regardless, and if Arsenal need to fall out of the top 4 to finally rid ourselves of Wenger, so be it. As 'finishing in the top 4' is just keeping his lifeless tenure on life support. Finishing in the top 4 is the drug that buys Wenger another 12 months. Just flatline already and fuck off.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Finishing outside the top 4 will NOT see Wenger gone. Anyone that truly believes that is deluding themselves tbh. If we did finish 5th or 6th the AKB sheep, the poxy media and our shit owner and Board would come out with bollocks like "he has earned the right to try again next year" and "who could replace him" and "that was a one-off, he has gotten us CL every year for a century now" and blah blah fucking blah.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Im with DB on this one one 5th or 6th isnt going to be enough for Gazidis to show him the door much as he would like to !

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger on what was "arguably Bellerin's worst performance in an Arsenal shirt"
But Arsene Wenger revealed the right-back had carried an injury into the match.
'We had three or four players we had to play tonight that we had to wait until the warm-up to see if they could play,' said Wenger.
'Hector Bellerin had a knock so he was uncertain to play, and that's the problem with only 48 hours (between games); you have to play some players again.
'This complicates the job a lot, but we have to shut up and cope with it.'
But you ate NOT "shutting up & coping with it" are you?? You have trotted it out as an excuse, both for you and the player, and you have also managed to sneak in the "48 hours between games" excuse that you had pre prepared if things went wrong.
He truly is a despicable old pensioner. Hard not to hate him.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
i said at the beginning of the season that the top 4 is no longer important for the club, due to the increased TV riches and coincidentally this might be the first season where we dont attain that positionDB10GOONER wrote:Finishing outside the top 4 will NOT see Wenger gone. Wenger sums it up!
We need to post these anecdotes as they do give us an insight as to what he actually takes from each game, and the arrogance towards other teams is quite unbelievable, how another manager has not knocked him out is another miracle!...
The miracle of Bournemouth from Wenger!....
"After 70 minutes we were 3-0 down, but we had great resilience and mental strength. In the end we were frustrated not to win the game. We suffered defensively, we had weaknesses tonight and it was unusual for us. We have mixed feelings. We wanted 3 points but to take 1 from that position you accept...."
Answer me this oh fucking wise monkey!....
What were the team doing for the first 69 minutes? We did not even have a shot on goal for the first 70 minutes, resilience and strength as you call it should be for over 90 minutes and not 20 minutes you buffoon...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
It's the CL money that is the target. I don't think the club cares if we come 2nd,3rd or 4th...but 5th might be a problem. I don't think the first season will do it though, I think after 2 they will start getting worried, after 3 he will be forced out. The fans need to understand how Kroenke views Arsenal, ALL his teams in fact, they are businesses, it's the income he looks at, not the trophies. CL money is vitally important but as I said I think it will take more than one season for them to force him out. I for one, am praying we miss out. In fact I would like to see us out of the Top 6.Herd wrote:Im with DB on this one one 5th or 6th isnt going to be enough for Gazidis to show him the door much as he would like to !

Re: Wenger sums it up!
We have a Wenger thread. We are not having multiple Wenger threads that will revert to basically the same posts repeated in each. Merged.Allgunsblazin wrote:We need to post these anecdotes as they do give us an insight as to what he actually takes from each game, and the arrogance towards other teams is quite unbelievable, how another manager has not knocked him out is another miracle!...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
MIXED FEELINGS?? Our "title chasing" team went down to Butlins and dropped 2 points. All this bs and all this mental strength & comeback waffle does not disguise the fact that we dropped TWO points. WENGER OUT!!
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Does coming back from 3-0 down excuse you from going down 3-0 down in the first place?
But as said above, Wenger does cling on to these anecdotal moments, finding solace in the last 20 minutes, but ignoring the first 70.
Its just like our result against AC Milan in the CL. We lose 4-0 to AC Milan in the first leg, buy run AC Milan close in the second leg by winning 3-0. We lose the tie, but still celebrate.
This mind set mirrors the 'top 4' is a trophy mindset. Its a mindset that says its ok to lose, particularity if you are a glorious loser.
If we saddle ourselves with Arsene for a further two years............it will kill off so many fans. He cant be allowed to simmer for another season.
