PNE AWAY FA CUP.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Welbz is on. If he proves his fitness he can get himself out of here in the transfer window.

Mental strength...never fails.

If we come up against a decent side playing like we are,we are going to be on the wrong end of another absolute caning.

Fair do's to Welbeck he's been out for months and months but hasn't forgotten the ancient skill of the backward pass.

Hard place to play.
Mental strength.
Passed a test.
Shows our progress.
Proves how seriously I take this competition.
The squad is very strong as you can see.

Pick any one or two from above.

We robbed them. What fucking shite that was.

Losing that early goal was disgraceful. Typical defending and us getting cut open at will. I'm sure TOF didn't give a fuck. After all, why care about a real trophy when there's the infinitely more important VT to secure. What the fuck is Maitland-Niles even doing anywhere near an FA Cup line-up anyway? It was already looking bleak, seeing as we tend to find it hard to even score in a brothel.

That first half was fucking AWFUL. We were dominated by Preston and they were a cúnt-hair from being three goals up! We were typically impotent up front, keeping their goalie to a bare minimum with our fucking awful congested football with fuck-all end product. Attacks always breaking down on the edge of the box, whilst they played into our with impunity. At half-time it looked fucking hopeless, especially knowing we won't make a fucking change until at least 70 minutes, as standard.

It was a major relief for us to equalize so soon into the second half. Hollywood finally did something useful! We had them penned back, but it was more of our standard illusionary dominance. Passing sideways around their box and wasting the chances we had. It seemed likely that it'd go to a damn replay (which the FA Cup should scrap) with our blunt attack. Nice to see Welbeck return, but ridiculous that we brought him on so late in the game. The bench was so weak.

Still a dismal lack of desire and application from our excuse of a team. TOF's disdain for the domestic cups has rubbed off on our spineless side. I couldn't believe we nicked it at the end! Nice to see a long ball cutting though the shit to get some goal threat. I'd take a long ball over 100 sideways passes any day.

I hope we don't fuck up the next round as bad as this. We were lucky.

WENGER OUT!

I have criticised Giroud a lot, but the last few games, he is in some form. Delighted that we won in a competition we can actually win overall.

Anyone know when the draw for the next round is?

I would like to see us get to the Final vs manure & beat them and then wenger announce his retirement - his last football action to be defeatng maureen and nutting him at the final whistle. :barscarf:
