For those who like to compare Thierry and Ladyboy..

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wait Panto!

Can you really say Ronaldo is as good as Henry was at his peak?

Can you really compare the class of Henry to that idiot?

Can you really imagine Ronaldo start a campaign against racism, being a role model for millions of people (of all ages) in the world. Henry was on the verge of tears when he gave a farewell message to the fans..

If a non-biased team, let's say Real Madrid had a choice between the two at their peak, do you really think they would have chosen Ronaldo?

Not only did henry was a superior player to Ronaldo, he was a better, more humble man than him too.

ask the Unicef campaigners, or the charities in portugal ..as for tears..save them for the crocodiles

they did have a choice of henry at 23 and passed it up ...

You didn't answer the question.

Every fecking player does something for charity, i saw Robbie Savage at a charity event once.

Thierry started campaigns. Not only joined them.
they did have a choice of henry at 23 and passed it up ...
Yeah, you're right. Madrid had him in the bag, but passed the opportunity. Can you believe the bollocks you're saying? The best fucking player in the world, he was.
have you seen his advrts..not to mention the "arrogant " tag that has followed your players for a number of yrs without having the silverware to back it up
Have you seen him talk once? There isn't a better man than him. He was always humble, nice, a real gentleman.

see what you mean...

Rob Smyth has written an interesting article about the increasingly petulant behaviour of Thierry Henry on the Guardian Unlimited website today.

The Arsenal captain’s taunting of Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland in yesterday’s game at the Emirates Stadium is the latest indication that the one-time ’nicest man in football’ is losing that certain va va voom that once made people so fond of him.

His childish post-Champions League Final rant at the referee was thoroughly embarrassing, and his conduct at times this season has been less than impressive. The goals haven’t been flowing that freely either, and while Henry’s form has stuttered, his younger team-mates have begun to intrude into the limelight that once belonged completely to him. His attempts to force his way back into that limelight by making himself the focal point of the team’s celebrations (even when he hasn’t been playing) have been toe-curling to say the least.

and more from the BBC

Thierry Henry scored a brilliant goal against Celtic at Parkhead but I was very disappointed with Henrys celebration. It seemed as he was taunting the Celtic fans. Celtic are a fantastic football club and they have terrific fans but what Thierry Henry did after scoring that goal was not nice at all. Thierry Henry is not a good professional and Ive never rated him as a good honest professional because of his aloof arrogant demeanour

and Lequipe...

Journal Du Dimanche, with excerpts in England’s Daily Mirror, there are a number of French folks who are none too happy with Thierry Henry. As I said in the previous post, he has been described (anonymously, of course,) as egotistical, pretentious, and “an enormous bighead.â€
