THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They're both bitter *word censored* who couldn't live with Arsenal on the pitch when they were at their best. And regularly made to look like mugs. :barscarf:

Absofuckinglutely. 8) :barscarf:

Particularly Mills. Plodding journeyman pub player that was blessed to get a career out of football by pretending to be a hard man, when in reality he was just a cowardly bald bitch. I'll always remember and enjoy TH14's chest pumping goal celebration right into the cúnt's face... 8)

I think Arsene's a bit of a c**t but have to try to define why we've been successful enough to finish top four for the last 20 years, but over the last 10 have only seriously challenged to the title once (07-08).

Other than Wenger ditching the tried and trusted method of winning the league (as demonstrated by utd, city and chelsea), I think he's created such a good model for finishing top four that it conversely never can actually win the league. The very thing that enables us to finish top four is the very same thing that prevents us winning the league.

All I can say about watching Chelsea is, is that they're very solid. To such an extent that it allows them to capitalise on their talent, even if that talent is seen much less than at Arsenal - That almost extreme solidity seems to squeeze the life out of opponents.

Not very good reading although an AKB would probably say we finished less points behind last season than the previous one.

15/16 - 10 pts behind
14/15 - 12 pts behind
13/14 - 7 pts behind
12/13 - 16 pts behind
11/12 - 19 pts behind
10/11 - 12 pts behind
09/10 - 11 pts behind
08/09 - 18 pts behind
07/08 - 4 pts behind
06/07 - 21 pts behind
That's "progress".
Overall, I believe that is remarkable consistency (again)

On the shoulders of the European Giants ?

Or just one or two per cent away.?

Wenger to sit among Chelsea fans on Saturday: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/footbal ... 56656.html

To be fair, they'll be more accommodating than if he was sat in the away end

Yeah according to Mr Cross and many AKBs Arsenal football club never existed until wenger rocked up in North London, we must be grateful that Wenger has built us a nice shinny stadium single handedly where we pay high ticket prices to sit next to camera happy tourists with no atmosphere and don't get me started on them red action monkeys who continue to embarrass our great club. Sorry chaps I had to get that off my chest never been so disillusioned with the state of our club and how it's managed.

Jesus fucking wept :banghead:

What pisses me off is the idea that we're being "knee jerk". They don't seem to understand that it's NOT about one single defeat. It's over a decade of the same shit being repeated season after season.

I wonder how much the club paid Cross to write that steaming pile of manure.

The thing is lots of people will read it and agree with it, Which only helps the new deal for Wenger more and more likely.

Hi! Just thought I'd pop on and say hello, i decided to join up and make my feelings heard as im sick of the way the club is being run and how the future of the club has been hijacked by AKBs. Look forward to meeting you all! :)
