THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So the mighty at Arsenal would have us quaking in our boots about the prospect of Wenger leaving.......to China. He's had thousands of offers with his contract winding down, but he is holding out for Real Madrid - LOOOOOL! Because they would replace Zidane who won the CL at first try with someone who has had nearly 20 years of chances and one final.

This one stinks of PR again, especially considering that Cross and Matt Law came out with the same exact story within hours of each other. He is most definitely signing on.

All of the team are behind him apparently..and want him to stay on..I fucking bet they do eh  more years in easy street for them *word censored*
Oh and the bayern tie isn't over  stranger things have happened he said
Fucking embarrassing just like le bumhole

thats a surprise Mr Showboater on fucking easy street wants him to stay......fucking paradise, no stress no shouting, no one accountable. do what you like on the pitch.....

just try and get 4th place and all the sheep are happy..... :banghead:
Was just about to write those exact words, mate!

It must be fantastic. Getting paid north of £100K a week and no stress, no pressure, just "express" yourself on a football pitch, deliver the bare minimum, get your contract extended, get a pay rise, ooh great your kids get to go to Yale or Oxford or wherever, buy yourself a Lamborghini... and then I hear people say "he's lost the dressing room". Do me a fucking favour, there's not one cúnt in that dressing room (bar maybe Sanchez) that would not get down on their knees and suck Arsene's balls out through his cock... and then swallow them.

Christ I've played in teams where the manager was a total cúnt and would mount huge pressure on us, publicly bollock us at games and in training if we didn't deliver... and I had to pay weekly subs for the fucking privilege!

This is a manager who spend 16m on players like Chambers, Perez, Gabriel and uses them passively. Giroud is on 100k a week and is on the bench most of the time. What kind of hard done by manager has a striker on 100k a week on the bench every week?

The kind that over-pays a back-up level of a striker in the first place  :banghead:

The Wenger PR machine is gearing up for it's biggest push yet .
Kroenke wants Wenger to stay
Wenger wants Wenger to stay

And they will get away with it if it wasn't for those pesky fans !

"He will Leave at seasons end " mantra that Ian Wright fell for and that John Cross is espousing ,is designed to cause a backlash amongst the AKB's who are felt to be still in the majority to plead with "le duffer" and now he's got the players on it too.

A few wins and maybe a Cup final will cement 2 more years at least !

He never had no shame
He was a master at his game ,
He never showed his hand
He was the Arsene Wenger man !
And and he was he was the Arsene Wenger man !

The Klopp kettle drum has seemed to go quiet. I reckon he'll be back in Germany before Wenger leaves Arsenal.

Whats the chances that now the club will have seen the protests planned for 7 March, that Wenger signs his contract on 5th or 6th of March? Even if it's just a show of defiance and to make the point of the march meaningless.

He did say he would decide in March or April :banghead:

From BBC Website:

"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has turned down a £30m-a-year deal to move to China that would have seen the 67-year-old earn twice as much as Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. (Daily Mirror)"

This is getting funnier and funnier. Of course, a European giant will come in for Wenger after all of his trophy hauls in Europe.....

So that'd be Olympiakos then ;-)

I can't see one contender for the CL hiring Wenger. That is where he is simply deluded.
